Introduction

The Smart Up Academy was started in 2022 by one dedicated and passionate founder. He started it with the vision to provide spoken English training and also to teach programming languages such as C++, Web designing, Flutter, etc. The training courses were curated such that they provided customers with real-time learning and overall development. The academy quickly gained organic traction through word-of-mouth marketing.

Speaking of 2025, they currently hold 305 reviews across 2 platforms with an average of 4.8 out of 5. Most of the reviews speak about the quality of service, training experience, and value for money. Lately, the academy has also started to offer IELTS and PTS examination training to its customers.

Smart Up Academy is currently going through a phase where it's building a long-term foundation. Currently, the founder himself handles most of the work. Be it training, marketing, assignment evaluation, finances, etc.

While the future of the academy has been shaping slowly and steadily. The founder always had an eye for finding and adapting anything that improved productivity and efficiency. He wanted to build an organisation that was process-driven and efficient.

Challenges and Needs

While most things were handled by the founder. It's safe to say, it was done manually without a process or system in place. From an outside perspective, it looked like there was too much on the plate. Automating a few things would provide the founder with more time to focus on other crucial aspects.

Listing down a few things that Smart Up Academy wanted to change/improve going further:

  • They wanted to streamline the process of assignment collection and its management
  • They wanted to provide multiple options to their customers while they provided reviews, such as audio, video, and text.
  • They wanted to build a dedicated landing page from which they could show the best of their reviews.
  • They wanted to explore the scope of creating an efficient process-driven department for HR, Sales, and Marketing.
  • They were currently in a phase where they wanted to get things right the first time through a process-first approach. The aim was to go towards efficiency and productivity.

Solution

The Feedspace team regularly conducts physical reachouts, with our aim to find businesses whose lives can be made easy and help them scale. While doing one such marathon of physical reachouts, we came across Smart Up Academy. After a bit of research, we knew Feedspace was a perfect fit for them.

We reached out to the founder and held a demo. During the same, the founder was happy that Feedspace could solve not just one, but a couple of their problems at once. He wanted to immediately sign up and start with Feedspace, so we set up the basics to kickstart his journey.

Here's what got implemented to help the academy:

  • We created an all-in-one review collection form, with which they can now provide multiple options to a customer to capture their reviews. Be it audio, video, or text.
  • We created an all-in-one assignment collection form, which was provided to the customers to collect their audio assignments.

  • We set up their Wall-of-Love with a dedicated landing page, and we imported their best reviews to showcase from here.

  • We added two customised buttons to their Wall-of-Love page, the button led the customers to a WhatsApp chat for enquiries.

  • We set up a centralised workstation from which they can now handle reviews and assignments systematically, and all of it was stored over a secure cloud server.
  • Implementation and Impact

    With Feedspace, there were a couple of positive impacts on the business. There were also some soon-to-be-seen impacts. Listing them all down:

    • They were now able to provide a better user experience while customers gave reviews. The all-in-form did that job with its multiple review options.
    • They were now able to collect and store assignments systematically with a dedicated all-in-one form. This removed the manual way of things.
    • They were now able to showcase better credibility and improve their brand perception. This was done with the help of Wall-of-Love which showcased the best of reviews.
    • They now had two touchpoints in the form of buttons on their Wall-of-Love page, to direct the traffic for enquiries over WhatsApp.
    • Their centralised workstation mitigated manual processes and provided them power to handle end-to-end aspects seamlessly.
    • Speaking of future impact, they can now go ahead and create efficient departments for Sales, HR, and Marketing.
    • The sales department can share the Wall-of-Love link along with other details with the customers after pitching.
    • The HR department can save time and take in more applications for the screening round with a form that contains questions. They can evaluate video answers sent by candidates, helping in faster filtration.
    • The marketing team can now seamlessly collect, Import, manage, and showcase all types of reviews from one centralised workplace.

    Conclusion

    Smart Up Academy was started with the vision to become one of the best in their segment. The quality of service at offer and their customer satisfaction was excellent. They've also showcased proof of concept over Instagram, where there are videos of their students who cracked IELTS and PTS examinations.

    When they came across Feedspace, they knew, it could not only help them solve current problems but also the ones from the future. Since signing up, they've been consistently using the tool every day. We've been seeing how their life changed after the tool came into the picture.
