Introduction

The Mayo Cafe was started in 2018 and they've come a long way while building a name for themselves around their location. The cafe offers great food with a commendable ambiance at an affordable price. They had garnered love from the youth, families, and kids, who soon turned out to be their regular customers.

Throughout the years, the cafe has received over 1150+ organic reviews across various platforms such as Google Reviews, Magicpin, Justdial, etc. The average rating stood over 4 out of 5.

The cafe was started just before an unprecedented time such as the pandemic. It still managed to hold its ground through the pandemic tide and it has grown into something meaningful with a happy vibe of its own.

Despite having all of these positive attributes and grit, the expected growth or let's say the deserved growth was coming in slow. They always had to keep an eye open to see what else could be done to scale.

Challenges and Impact

Even with great love showcased by their customers in the form of online reviews, they weren't able to build the momentum they were eyeing for. It seemed like things were scattered across with dots yet to be connected.

While they knew they had a proof of concept at hand. They also knew that their SOPs could be copy pasted across multiple locations, which could potentially fulfill their long-term vision to expand and diversify through a franchise model.

But to make this into a reality, they had to:

  • Build better credibility.
  • Increase their social presence on platforms such as Instagram.
  • Make the best use of their current customer reviews.
  • Maximize out of a new customer without annoying them. Be it for a review, follow, or to be tagged online.
  • Figure out a solution to have a website or a landing page.

Solution

As the cafe existed in close proximity to Feedspace headquarters, it caught our eye and we reached out to them for a meeting. We were sure that Feedspace could help them. If not all the challenges, we knew it would solve most of their crucial ones.

Based on our meeting, it became clear to them how Feedspace can solve their current challenges such as:

  • To increase customer trust, they can now select their best reviews across various platforms and showcase them with a Wall-of-Love from one place.
  • To improve social media traffic, they can now use the button inside their Wall-of-Love page by linking it to their Instagram handle.

  • To improve the customer experience while they give reviews, they can now use an all-in-one form that allows customers to give audio, video, and textual reviews as per their comfort.
  • To create multiple touchpoints for getting a review, they can now also add a QR code to their bill receipt, with that being linked to the all-in-one form.

Implementation and Impact

With the implementation of Feedspace, Mayo Cafe was now able to make the best out of its current situation to increase overall trust and credibility. With our tool:

The competition in the cafe business is increasing daily with new cafes popping up everywhere. Mayo Cafe needed to stay ahead in its game. As they weren't new to this, they had 6+ years of experience and also more than 1.1k+ online reviews, which made it easier for them to make the best of the situation with Feedspace.
