Overview
Every review card in your Feedbox displays a small colored tag that tells you exactly where that review originated.
Source Tags Show You Where Every Review Came From
When a review appears in your Feedbox, Feedspace automatically attaches a source tag to it at the moment it is created or imported. This tag is color-coded and displays the name of the originating platform or collection method, making it easy to identify the source at a glance without opening the full review.
Platform Import Tags
When you use the Feedspace Import feature to bring in reviews from an external platform, each imported review receives a tag matching that platform. Common platform import tags include Google, Trustpilot, AppSumo, and Facebook. The tag color helps you visually distinguish reviews from different platforms as you scroll through your Feedbox.
The Feedspace Tag
Reviews that are collected directly through a Feedspace review form receive the Feedspace source tag. This covers any testimonial submitted by a customer via a form you created and shared inside Feedspace. It is a clear indicator that the review was gathered natively through your own Feedspace workflow.
Source Tags vs. Labels: Understanding the Difference
Source tags and labels serve different purposes and it helps to understand how they work together. Source tags are assigned automatically by Feedspace and reflect the origin of a review. They cannot be edited or removed. Labels, on the other hand, are tags you assign manually to organize reviews according to your own workflow, such as marking a review as “Featured” or “To Reply.” Both appear on the review card and complement each other nicely.
Filtering by Source Tag
You can use the Feedbox filter options to display only the reviews from a specific source. For example, filtering by Google shows you all reviews imported from Google, while filtering by Feedspace shows only form-collected testimonials. This makes it straightforward to focus on a single source when managing or responding to reviews.
What’s next
- Use the Feedbox filter to select a specific source tag and view all reviews from that platform in one focused list.
- Import reviews from additional platforms such as Google, Trustpilot, or Facebook to expand your Feedbox and see their source tags appear automatically.
- Add your own labels to reviews alongside their source tags to build a custom organization system that matches your team’s workflow.
- Share or embed your best reviews from any source using Feedspace widgets, knowing the source tag helps you pick the most relevant testimonials quickly.
