How to Migrate Reviews from VideoAsk to Feedspace

Overview

Feedspace lets you migrate your existing testimonials from VideoAsk so you can manage and showcase them in one place. VideoAsk, a video-first form and testimonial tool by Typeform, stores respondent names, emails, and transcript text in an exportable CSV file. This guide walks you through how to export that data and import it into Feedspace.

Note: Video file links from VideoAsk are not automatically imported as hosted videos. Only the text transcript and respondent information carry over during the migration.

Steps to Migrate Reviews from VideoAsk to Feedspace

Step 1: Export Your VideoAsk Responses

1. Log in to your VideoAsk account and open your dashboard.
2. Select the video form that collected your testimonials.
3. Go to the Results tab for that form.
4. Click the download or export option and choose to download the responses as a CSV file.
5. Save the CSV file to your computer. It will contain respondent names, email addresses, and transcript text from each video response.

Step 2: Open Import Reviews in Feedspace

1. Log in to your Feedspace account and select the workspace where you want to import your testimonials.
2. In the left sidebar, click Import Reviews.
3. On the Import Reviews page, look for the CSV import or migration tool option.

Step 3: Upload Your VideoAsk Export

1. Click Upload or Choose File and select the CSV file you exported from VideoAsk.
2. Feedspace will read the file and map the CSV fields, including respondent names, email addresses, and transcript text, to the corresponding testimonial fields.
3. Review the field mapping to confirm the data is matched correctly, then confirm the import.
4. Once the import is complete, all responses will appear as testimonials in your Feedbox.

What Carries Over and What Does Not

• Carries over: respondent names, email addresses, and text transcripts from video responses.
• Does not carry over: video file links from VideoAsk are not automatically imported as hosted videos. If you need video content in Feedspace, you will need to re-collect those video testimonials using a Feedspace form.

Next Steps After Migration

Once your VideoAsk testimonials are imported into Feedspace, you can manage them from your Feedbox, add labels, reply to reviewers, and display them on your website using Feedspace widgets or a Wall of Love.
