How Do I Add an Inline CTA to My Horizontal Scroll Widget in Feedspace?

Overview

The Horizontal Scroll widget displays your review cards in a continuously looping ticker that moves across the page. Because every card in the strip is always in motion, visitors scan through reviews quickly, and you can use that momentum to your advantage. The Inline CTA option in the Design tab lets you insert a dedicated call-to-action card directly into the scrolling strip alongside your review cards. This CTA card carries its own heading, body text, button label, button URL, button color, card background color, and card border, so it matches your brand while standing out just enough to invite a click. Because the strip loops endlessly, the CTA card cycles past every visitor repeatedly without interrupting the review content around it.

How to Add an Inline CTA to Your Horizontal Scroll Widget

Step 1: Open the Widgets Section

Log in to your Feedspace account and navigate to the Widgets section from the main sidebar. You will see a list of all widgets you have created for your workspace.

Step 2: Edit Your Horizontal Scroll Widget

Find your Horizontal Scroll widget in the list and click the Edit icon or its name to open the widget editor. If you have not created a Horizontal Scroll widget yet, create one first and then return to this step.

Step 3: Go to the Design Tab

Inside the widget editor, click the Design tab at the top of the settings panel. The Design tab contains all visual customization options for the widget, including layout, colors, typography, and the Inline CTA section.

Step 4: Find and Enable the Inline CTA Section

Scroll down the Design tab until you reach the Inline CTA section. Click the toggle to enable it. Once enabled, the configuration fields for the CTA card will appear below the toggle.

Step 5: Configure the CTA Card Fields

Fill in each field to build your CTA card:

• CTA Heading Text: The bold headline displayed at the top of the CTA card, for example “Ready to share your experience?”
• CTA Body Text: A short supporting sentence beneath the heading that gives visitors context before they click.
• CTA Button Label: The text shown on the button, such as “Leave a Review” or “Get Started”.
• CTA Button URL: The destination URL the button opens when clicked. This can be your review form link, a product page, or any other relevant page.
• CTA Button Color: The background color of the button. Use your brand’s primary color to keep the CTA recognizable.
• CTA Card Background: The background color of the entire CTA card as it appears in the scrolling strip.
• CTA Card Border: The border color or style applied around the CTA card to help it stand out from adjacent review cards.

Step 6: Save and Preview

Once all fields are filled in, click Save to apply your changes. Use the widget preview to confirm the CTA card appears in the scrolling strip alongside your review cards and that all colors, text, and the button link look correct.
