Overview
The Horizontal Scroll widget displays your review cards in a continuously looping ticker that scrolls across the page. Because all cards are visible simultaneously and move through the viewport in a seamless flow, the typography you choose has an immediate, site-wide visual impact. A font that clashes with your existing site style will stand out as an inconsistency; a well-matched font keeps the widget feeling like a natural part of your page.
The Font Family selector in the Advanced Customization section of the Design tab lets you pick from a curated range of fonts to control exactly how review text renders inside each scrolling card. If you do not want to choose manually, the Auto Capture option automatically detects the font your website is already using and applies it to the widget, so the scrolling ticker inherits your brand typography without any extra configuration.
How to Change the Font for Your Horizontal Scroll Widget
Step 1: Open the Widgets Section
Log in to your Feedspace account. In the left-hand navigation, click Widgets to open your list of saved widgets.
Step 2: Edit Your Horizontal Scroll Widget
Find the Horizontal Scroll widget you want to update. Click the Edit icon (pencil) next to it to open the widget editor.
Step 3: Go to the Design Tab
Inside the widget editor, click the Design tab at the top of the panel. This tab contains all visual customization options for your Horizontal Scroll widget.
Step 4: Locate the Advanced Customization Section
Scroll down within the Design tab until you reach the Advanced Customization section. This section contains additional styling controls including the Font Family selector.
Step 5: Select a Font Family
Click the Font Family dropdown. You will see a list of available fonts to choose from. Select the font that best matches your site’s visual style. The preview will update in real time so you can see how the font looks across the scrolling review cards before saving.
To let Feedspace automatically match your website’s existing font, select Auto Capture from the dropdown. When this option is active, the widget reads the font your website is using and applies it to the ticker cards, ensuring a seamless typographic match without manual selection.
Step 6: Save and Publish
Once you are happy with your font selection, click Save to apply the changes. If your widget is already embedded on your website, the updated font will appear on your live page immediately after saving.
