How Do I Transfer a Widget in Feedspace?

Overview

If you manage more than one workspace in Feedspace, you can transfer a widget from one workspace to another. The transfer moves the widget along with its design settings and review selections, so you do not need to rebuild it from scratch in the destination workspace.

How to Transfer a Widget

Step 1: Go to the Widgets Section

Log in to your Feedspace account and click Widgets in the left sidebar to open your widget dashboard.

Step 2: Open the Widget Options Menu

Find the widget you want to transfer and click the three-dot menu icon on the widget card to open the options menu.

Step 3: Select Transfer

From the options menu, click Transfer. A dialog will appear prompting you to select or enter the destination workspace where you want to move the widget.

Step 4: Choose the Destination Workspace

Select the workspace you want to transfer the widget to from the list of available workspaces. Review the details and confirm the transfer.

Step 5: Confirm the Transfer

Click Confirm to complete the transfer. The widget will be moved to the selected workspace and will no longer appear in the original workspace’s widget list.

After transferring your widget, here is what you can do:

• Switch to the destination workspace: Navigate to the workspace where the widget was transferred and verify that all design settings and review selections have been preserved correctly.
• Update the embed code: If the widget was already embedded on a website, check whether the embed code needs to be updated after the transfer to continue displaying correctly.
• Duplicate instead of transfer: If you need the widget in both workspaces, use the Duplicate option to create a copy while keeping the original in its current workspace.
• Customize for the new workspace: Once transferred, you can update the widget’s design or review selection to fit the branding and content of the new workspace.
