How Do I Transfer a Widget in Feedspace?

Overview

A widget in Feedspace is not moved directly from one workspace to another. The three-dot menu on a widget card offers Edit, Add to Website, Duplicate Widget, and Delete, and Duplicate only creates a copy inside the same workspace. If you need the same widget design in a different workspace, such as when you manage several client accounts or brands, recreate it there using the steps below.

Steps to recreate a widget in another workspace

Open the widget you want to recreate and note its design settings on the Design tab (colors, layout options, and any toggles you have turned on) so you can match them in the new workspace.
If the reviews you want to show are only in your current workspace, ask the Feedspace support team to move them to the destination workspace first. Reviews are not moved from the dashboard yet, so support handles this on request.
Switch to the destination workspace from the workspace switcher.
Click Widgets in the left sidebar, then click the template card for the same widget type to create a new widget.
On the Select Reviews tab, choose the reviews you want the new widget to show.
On the Design tab, match the colors and settings from the original widget.
On the Share tab, copy the embed code for the new widget and update it on your website in place of the old one.

Update the embed code on your website once the new widget in the destination workspace is ready, so visitors see the correct widget.
Set up automation on the new widget so future reviews matching your rules are added automatically, instead of re-selecting reviews by hand each time.
Keep the original widget in place until you have confirmed the new one displays correctly, then delete it if it is no longer needed.

Does Duplicate Widget move a widget to a different workspace?

No. Duplicate Widget creates a second copy of the same widget inside the workspace you are already in. To use the same design in a different workspace, recreate the widget there using the steps above.

Do I need to ask support every time I want reviews in another workspace?

Only if the specific reviews you want to feature exist solely in the other workspace. If the destination workspace already has reviews you are happy to use, you can select from those directly without contacting support.
