How to Create a Horizontal Scroll Widget in Feedspace

Overview

The Horizontal Scroll widget in Feedspace showcases your reviews in a smooth side-by-side scrolling motion. It is perfect for sections where you want continuous movement and visual engagement, such as website headers, testimonial rows, or landing pages.

How to Access

Step 1 – Log in to Feedspace

Go to your Feedspace Dashboard and log in using your credentials.

Step 2 – Navigate to Widgets

From the left sidebar, click on Share Reviews → Widgets.
Then select Horizontal Scroll as your widget type.

Step 3 – Select Reviews

Choose the reviews you want to include in your widget. You can select them manually or filter from connected sources.

Step 4 – Customize Widget Design

Click Customize to open the Widget Design Settings panel where you can adjust layout, animation, and colors.

Step 5 – Enable Horizontal Scrolling Animation

Toggle Horizontal Scrolling Animation to allow your reviews to move left and right in opposite directions while scrolling. This feature adds a dynamic motion effect to your testimonial display.

Step 6 – Manage Branding Options

If you are using the Pro plan, you can enable Remove Feedspace Branding to hide the Feedspace badge from your widget for a more neutral appearance.

Step 7 – Choose What to Display

Display Review Ratings: Show or hide star ratings for each review.
Enable ‘Read More’: Shorten long reviews and allow users to expand them when needed.
Enable Dark Mode: Apply a dark background theme.
Show Border: Add a border around each review card.
- Thickness: Adjust from 1px to 5px.
- Radius: Choose Small, Medium, or Large corner rounding.
- Color: Default is #E5E7EB.
Show Shadow: Add depth and subtle separation for each card.

Adjust widget colors to match your website theme:

Primary Text Color: #1f2937
Secondary Text Color: #6b7280
Card Background Color: #f9fbff
Card on Hover Color: #d3d5d8
Star Rating Color: #FACC15

Advanced Options

Step 9 – Add Custom CSS

If you are using the Pro plan, toggle Add Custom CSS to apply your own styling such as animations, spacing, or typography customization.

Step 10 – Review Order

Preview how the widget will look on your site.
Reorder reviews if needed under the Review Order tab.

Step 11 – Save and Embed

Once all settings are configured:

Click Save & Next.
Copy the embed code generated.
Paste it into your website HTML or use your CMS integration (like WordPress, Webflow, or Wix) to publish.

The Horizontal Scroll widget is great for displaying testimonials in motion without taking much vertical space. It adds energy and interactivity to your site while keeping the focus on user reviews.
