Hello everyone. It's my first post and I just want to share about a positive experience regarding hiring a private driver for our day trip.Had booked from klook originally, paid and confirmed. But when the driver contacted me, they wanted to add 20,000 yen to the original paid booking citing peak season as a reason. I respect that the drivers have a difficult job, long hrs and difficulties in maneuvering during winter season (especially) but I don't appreciate antics like quoting a fare to entice you to sign up then add on later. Thanks to a member here, I contacted the admin for this group for driver recommendation. I think the price he quoted was fair. We had the trip today and driver arrived punctually, was pleasant and polite, able to speak some English and drove very safely. The car was also clean and comfortable. We were able to complete eveything that we had planned for and was so glad that the klook one didn't work out. We already know that when we come back for a winter trip again, we will definitely engage a driver through the same company!Updated post: Itinerary Pick up at Sapporo hotel at 8am1. Ukimido park (Lake Toya)2. Silo Observation Deck (the view is pretty and you get to play with snowmobile and snow rafting. Note that it can get busy with tour groups. We arrived around 1015am and was one of the first to play.)3. Lake hill farm (lunch at the cafe and great area for snow play and view of Mt Yotei)4. Noboribetsu Date Jidai village5. Noboribetsu Jigokudani Valley6. Drop off at Sapporo city at 6pm (we actually manage to end at 530pm).

First and foremost, my family and I would like to say a massive thank you to Dan and his team. We were looking for transportation assistance as we were traveling in a group of 10pax with 20luggages. Not only did he hooked us up with a mini van that could fit us all in, the price was very reasonable and the driver spoke mandarin and was super nice!Closer to the date of arriving at Hokkaido, we decided it would be best to find a tutor to teach us how to snowboard. I was worried that we might not be able to find any as it was quite last min, but Lo and Behold! Dan and Christian offered to be our instructor! The sport itself wasn’t particularly easy. But after 3hrs of constant teaching, falling, we managed to slide down the slope instead of rolling down. Many times we had to take a 5min break to try getting up again on our feet. And regardless the number of times, Dan and Christian was super patient. Our Hokkaido experience would have been completely different if it wasn’t for the help that Dan and his team. Will definitely recommend them to anyone who wants a hassle free planning , especially when travelling in a big group.Big hugs!X

Hi everyone!! I’m here to post a review for Daniel after engaging his company to charter a car with a driver for our 8 days trip ☺️ Chanced upon this Facebook group while planning a spontaneous trip to Hokkaido for Oct 2025. It was our first trip to Hokkaido, and we wanted to pick up some tips to plan our itinerary. We’re a family of 6 — 4 adults, 1 two-year-old toddler, and 1 elderly.Initially, we thought of exploring Hokkaido via public transport since it’s known to be quite extensive, and none of us drives. But after considering that we’d be traveling with both an elderly and a toddler, we realized it might be tiring to navigate public transport. So, we reached out to enquire about chartering a car with a driver.Daniel responded to our enquiry very promptly and was super helpful in recommending places of interest and planning our itinerary after understanding the kind of experiences we were looking for. After a few rounds of discussion, we finalized our itinerary and decided to engage Daniel’s service for a private car charter with driver. Before confirming, we did have some concerns about whether Daniel was running a legitimate business or if it might be another online scam 😅 But he reassured us by sharing his credentials and reviews from past clients who had engaged him.Now that our trip has ended, we’re happy to share that — no, we weren’t scammed 😂 The 10-seater passenger van was just right for our family, especially with a toddler and an elderly. The drivers were responsible, professional, and made every ride smooth, comfortable, and safe. The itinerary was also well-paced, thanks to Daniel’s experience. We truly enjoyed our Hokkaido trip and look forward to coming back again next time!

I rarely write reviews, but I believe Daniel from the Singaporeans in Hokkaido Facebook group truly deserves one. I travelled with a large group of 8 adults and 1 toddler, and Daniel was extremely helpful in planning our itinerary and coordinating drivers to ensure everything went smoothly. Do note that they require full payment before the trip, but they are 100% trustworthy. The drivers were professional and often provided great suggestions on local food and attractions in each area. Overall, we had a seamless and enjoyable experience, and I would highly recommend their services.

We engaged a private driver through Daniel in this group, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Daniel helped us plan our itinerary, and over 3 days we visited Mt Tengu, Otaru, bibai Snowland, Furano, Biei and many more. Our driver, Keigo, was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and shared many interesting insights throughout the journey, making the trip not just sightseeing but also a great learning experience. He was patient, friendly, and always made sure we were comfortable.Keigo also recommended and brought us to excellent places for meals, which turned out to be amazing and added so much to the overall experience. Everything was smooth, well-paced, and thoughtfully planned. We truly enjoyed the trip and would definitely engage Daniel and Keigo again on our next visit. Highly recommended! If any of you are looking to get private drivers, please just feel free to pm the admin in this group ! Rest assured it is an excellent experience! So glad we engaged them .. driving in the snow, on icy roads - leave it to the professionals 🤣
