Threads is quickly becoming one of the most active platforms for authentic, text-driven conversations about brands and products. When users publicly mention or recommend your business on Threads, those posts carry real social proof from engaged audiences. Displaying that social proof directly on your WordPress site helps potential customers see genuine endorsements in the moment they are making a buying decision. With Feedspace, you can import your Threads posts and mentions and embed them as polished widgets on any WordPress page, turning organic community conversations into trust-building content that drives conversions.
What You Need Before You Start
- A Feedspace account with at least one form set up
- Threads posts or mentions already imported into Feedspace (see How to Import Threads Posts into Feedspace)
- The Feedspace WordPress plugin installed and activated on your site
Step 1: Import Your Threads Posts into Feedspace
Before you can display Threads content on WordPress, you need to bring those posts into Feedspace. If you have not done this yet, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Feedspace account.
- Open the form where you want to store your Threads reviews.
- Navigate to Import Reviews and select Threads as the source platform.
- Follow the prompts to connect your Threads account and import the posts and mentions you want to showcase.
- Once the import is complete, review the imported posts inside Feedspace and approve any that you want to display publicly.
For a detailed walkthrough of the import process, see the How to Import Threads Posts into Feedspace article.
Step 2: Create a Widget in Feedspace
Next, create a display widget that will showcase your imported Threads posts on your WordPress site:
- In your Feedspace dashboard, go to Share Reviews from the sidebar.
- Click Create Widget to start a new widget.
- Choose a widget layout that suits your WordPress page. Available options include:
- Wall: a masonry-style grid that works well for showcasing multiple Threads posts at once
- Carousel: a horizontal slider ideal for highlighting featured mentions
- List: a clean vertical layout that keeps the focus on the text content of each Threads post
- Configure the widget settings: choose which form’s reviews to display, apply any tag or rating filters, and adjust the visual style to match your brand.
- Click Save to generate your widget.
- Copy the Widget ID or the shortcode shown on the widget detail page. You will need this in the next step.
Tip: Because Threads is a text-first platform, the List layout tends to work especially well for Threads posts. It lets the words of each mention take center stage without visual distractions, giving your site visitors the most authentic reading experience.
Step 3: Install the Feedspace WordPress Plugin
If you have not already installed the Feedspace plugin on your WordPress site, follow these steps:
- Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
- Go to Plugins and click Add New.
- Search for Feedspace in the plugin search bar.
- Click Install Now next to the Feedspace plugin, then click Activate.
- Once activated, go to the Feedspace settings page in your WordPress admin menu and enter your Feedspace API key to connect your account.
For a full guide on setting up the plugin, see How to Use the WordPress Feedspace Plugin.
Step 4: Add the Widget to Your WordPress Page
With the plugin connected and your widget ready, embed the Threads reviews widget on any page or post:
- Open the WordPress page or post where you want to display the Threads reviews.
- In the Gutenberg block editor, click the + button to add a new block.
- Search for Feedspace and select the Feedspace block from the results.
- In the block settings panel, paste your Widget ID or select your widget from the dropdown list.
- Alternatively, use the shortcode option: add a Shortcode block and paste the Feedspace shortcode (for example,
[feedspace_widget id="YOUR_WIDGET_ID"]).
- Click Update or Publish to save the page.
- Preview the page to confirm your Threads posts and mentions are displaying correctly.
Where to Place Your Threads Reviews Widget
Choosing the right placement maximises the impact of your Threads social proof. Consider these high-value locations:
- Homepage: place the widget above the fold or in the testimonials section to greet visitors with real community endorsements
- Product or service pages: add the widget near your call-to-action to reinforce purchase decisions with relevant Threads mentions
- Landing pages: embed a carousel of your best Threads posts to build credibility for campaigns and promotions
- About page: showcase Threads posts that speak to your brand values and community reputation
Keeping Your Widget Up to Date
Feedspace automatically reflects any changes you make to your reviews or widget settings. If you import new Threads posts, approve additional reviews, or update the widget layout in Feedspace, those changes appear on your WordPress site without any manual updates to the page. This keeps your social proof fresh and current as your Threads community continues to grow.
