How Do I Display Wistia Reviews on My WordPress Site with Feedspace?

Last updated on June 15, 2026

Overview

Wistia is a professional video hosting platform built for businesses, and the customer success stories and case study videos you host there are among the most persuasive forms of social proof you can put in front of prospects. Displaying those video testimonials directly on your WordPress site keeps visitors engaged longer, builds credibility at the exact moment buyers are evaluating your product, and removes the friction of sending people away to a third-party page to watch them. With Feedspace, you can import your Wistia video testimonials, build a polished display widget, and publish it anywhere on your WordPress site in just a few steps.

What You Need Before You Start

  • A Feedspace account with your Wistia video testimonials already imported (see How to Import Videos from Wistia into Feedspace)
  • A WordPress site where you have permission to install plugins and edit pages
  • The Feedspace WordPress plugin installed, or access to embed a shortcode or block on your pages

Step 1: Import Your Wistia Video Testimonials into Feedspace

Before you can display anything on WordPress, your Wistia video testimonials must be imported into Feedspace. If you have not done this yet, follow the import guide first.

  1. Log in to your Feedspace account.
  2. Navigate to Import Reviews from the sidebar.
  3. Select Wistia from the list of available platforms.
  4. Follow the prompts to connect your Wistia account and pull in your video testimonials.
  5. Once the import is complete, your Wistia video testimonials will appear in your Feedspace review library, ready to be added to a widget.

Tip: Wistia videos imported into Feedspace retain their original hosted video player, so your testimonials will play directly within the widget using Wistia’s clean, distraction-free video experience rather than a generic embed. This keeps your brand presentation consistent and gives viewers the same high-quality playback your Wistia setup is known for.

Step 2: Create a Widget in Feedspace

A widget is the display container that controls how your Wistia video testimonials look on your WordPress site. You can choose from several widget styles depending on where you want to place the testimonials and how much space you have.

  1. In Feedspace, go to Share Reviews and then select Widgets.
  2. Click Create Widget and give it a name that identifies where it will appear (for example, “Wistia Testimonials – Homepage”).
  3. Choose a widget layout. Common options include:
    • Wall of Love: a grid layout that showcases multiple video testimonials at once
    • Carousel: a horizontal slider ideal for landing pages and product sections
    • Single Review: highlights one featured video testimonial prominently
  4. Filter the reviews included in the widget to show only your Wistia video testimonials, or combine them with reviews from other sources.
  5. Customise the widget appearance to match your WordPress theme, including colors, fonts, and spacing.
  6. Click Save to finalise your widget.

Step 3: Install the Feedspace WordPress Plugin

The Feedspace WordPress plugin is the easiest way to add your widget to any page or post without touching code.

  1. In your WordPress admin dashboard, go to Plugins and click Add New.
  2. Search for Feedspace in the plugin directory.
  3. Click Install Now and then Activate the plugin.
  4. Once activated, go to the Feedspace settings in your WordPress admin and connect your Feedspace account using your API key. You can find your API key in Feedspace under Automation.

Step 4: Add the Widget to Your WordPress Page

With the plugin connected, you can place your Wistia testimonials widget on any page or post using the Feedspace block or shortcode.

  1. Open the WordPress page or post where you want the widget to appear, using the Gutenberg block editor.
  2. Click the + button to add a new block, then search for Feedspace.
  3. Select the Feedspace Widget block and insert it into the page.
  4. In the block settings panel, choose the widget you created in Step 2 from the dropdown list.
  5. Preview the page to confirm your Wistia video testimonials are displaying correctly.
  6. Click Update or Publish to make the page live.

Alternatively, if you prefer to use a shortcode or a classic editor, copy the embed shortcode from your widget’s share options in Feedspace and paste it directly into any page, post, or widget area in WordPress.

Where to Place Your Wistia Testimonials Widget

Video testimonials perform best when placed where buying decisions are made. Consider adding your Wistia widget to these high-impact locations:

  • Homepage hero or below-the-fold section: greets visitors with real customer voices immediately
  • Pricing page: addresses hesitation at the moment prospects are weighing cost against value
  • Product or features page: backs up your claims with proof from customers who have experienced the results
  • Landing pages for campaigns: increases conversion rates by combining your offer with credible social proof
  • Case studies or testimonials page: creates a dedicated destination for prospects who want to do deeper research before buying
