How Do I Change the Font on My Vertical Scroll Widget in Feedspace?

Last updated on June 12, 2026

Overview

The Vertical Scroll widget displays your review cards in a continuously scrolling vertical feed that loops seamlessly, keeping testimonials in constant motion on your page. Because visitors read each card as it scrolls past, the font used for reviewer names, ratings text, and review body has a direct impact on readability and on how well the widget feels at home within your site’s design.

The Font Family selector in the Advanced Customization section lets you choose from a curated range of fonts and apply them consistently across every card in the feed. If you want the widget to blend in naturally with your existing branding without manually picking a font, the Auto Capture option detects and uses the font already active on the page where the widget is embedded, so the scrolling feed inherits your site’s typography automatically.

How to Change the Font for Your Vertical Scroll Widget

Step 1: Open the Widgets Section

Log in to your Feedspace account. In the left-hand navigation, click Widgets to open the list of widgets you have created.

Step 2: Edit Your Vertical Scroll Widget

Find the Vertical Scroll widget you want to update and click the Edit icon (pencil) next to it. This opens the widget editor.

Step 3: Go to the Design Tab

Inside the widget editor, click the Design tab at the top of the panel. This tab contains all visual customization settings for the widget.

Step 4: Open the Advanced Customization Section

Scroll down within the Design tab until you reach the Advanced Customization section. Click to expand it if it is collapsed. The Font Family selector is located inside this section.

Step 5: Select a Font Family

Click the Font Family dropdown to see the available font options. Browse the list and click the font you want to apply to all text in the scrolling review cards. If you prefer the widget to automatically match the typography of the page it is embedded on, select Auto Capture from the list. With Auto Capture enabled, Feedspace detects the active font on your website and applies it to the widget without any manual selection needed.

Step 6: Save and Publish

Once you have chosen your font, click Save to apply the change. The Vertical Scroll widget embedded on your site will update to display all review cards using the selected font family.

What You Can Do Next

  • Adjust the text color of your review cards to complement the new font by following the guide on changing text color for the Vertical Scroll widget.
  • Explore other design settings such as card background color, border radius, and spacing in the Design tab to build a fully cohesive look for the scrolling feed.
  • Test the Auto Capture option on a staging page to confirm the detected font matches your site’s primary typeface before publishing to production.
  • Copy the updated embed code from the widget editor and replace the existing snippet on your website so visitors see the refreshed Vertical Scroll feed immediately.
