The Horizontal Scroll widget in Feedspace displays your reviews in a continuous, looping ticker that moves horizontally across the page. Because the animation loops without pause, the quality and number of reviews you include directly affects how the widget feels to visitors. A sparse selection creates noticeable gaps and repetition, while a rich set of 8 or more reviews produces a varied, uninterrupted scroll that holds attention.
The Select Reviews tab inside the widget editor is where you choose exactly which reviews appear in the ticker. You can pick reviews individually using checkboxes on each card, or add all visible reviews at once using the Select All button. This article walks you through both approaches.
Inside the widget editor, click the Select Reviews tab at the top. The tab opens a list of all reviews available in your Feedspace account. Each review appears as a card showing the reviewer name, review text, and star rating.
Click any review card to select it. A checkmark appears on the card to confirm it has been added to the widget. Click the card again to deselect it and remove it from the selection. Repeat this for each review you want to include in the horizontal scroll ticker.
For the smoothest looping experience, aim to select at least 8 reviews. With fewer reviews, the ticker loops through the same cards quickly and the display feels repetitive. A larger pool of reviews ensures the animation feels continuous and varied for every visitor who views the widget.
To add every review currently shown in the list without clicking each card individually, click the Select All button at the top of the review list. All visible review cards will be selected at once. A counter updates at the top to show the total number of reviews now included in the widget.
If you have applied search or filter options before clicking Select All, only the reviews matching those criteria are selected, not your entire review library. This makes Select All particularly useful when you want a curated set, such as all 5-star reviews or all reviews from a specific import source, added to the ticker in one click.
Check the selection counter shown at the top of the review list to confirm how many reviews are included. If the count is below 8, consider using Select All or individually adding more reviews to ensure the horizontal scroll ticker loops smoothly without interruption or repetition.
Once you are satisfied with your selection, click Save & Next to move to the next step in the widget editor. Your chosen reviews will be the ones that appear in the looping horizontal scroll ticker on your website.
