The Masonry widget displays your reviews in a Pinterest-style staggered grid, arranging cards across multiple columns at varying heights so visitors can scan many reviews at a glance. Because each card expands to fit the full text of a review, a single long review can create a very tall card that disrupts the visual rhythm of the grid, pushing neighbouring cards far down the page and making the layout feel uneven.
The Shorten Long Reviews toggle, found in the Widget Content Customization section of the Design tab, solves this by truncating lengthy review text after a few lines and adding a “read more” link. Visitors who want the full text simply click to expand it inline. This keeps every card in the grid compact and roughly uniform in height, preserving the staggered Masonry appearance while still giving visitors access to every word of every review.
Log in to your Feedspace account. In the left-hand navigation, click Widgets to open the list of all widgets you have created.
Find your Masonry widget in the list. Click the Edit button (or the widget name) to open the widget editor.
Inside the widget editor, click the Design tab at the top of the settings panel. This tab contains all visual and content display options for the widget.
Scroll down within the Design tab until you reach the Widget Content Customization section. This section groups all the toggles that control which parts of each review card are shown and how they are displayed.
Locate the Shorten Long Reviews toggle and switch it on. Once enabled, any review whose text exceeds the display threshold will be automatically truncated in the Masonry grid, with a “read more” link appended so visitors can expand the full text on demand. Click Save to apply the change.
