How Do I Show the Social Platform Icon on My Avatar Group Widget in Feedspace?

Last updated on June 12, 2026

Overview

The Avatar Group widget displays a compact cluster of reviewer avatars alongside a star rating count and a trust headline, giving visitors an instant social proof signal. Each avatar in the cluster represents a real reviewer, and the widget is designed to surface credibility in a small footprint.

The Show Social Platform Icon option, found in the Widget Content Customization section of the Design tab, places the source platform logo (Google, Trustpilot, Capterra, and others) directly on each reviewer avatar card. Because the Avatar Group widget condenses multiple reviews into a single visual element, showing the platform icon tells visitors at a glance which trusted platforms those reviews came from, strengthening the authenticity of the clustered display without requiring visitors to expand individual cards.

A nested Social Redirection toggle extends this further: when enabled, each platform icon becomes a clickable link that takes visitors directly to the original review on that platform, giving skeptical visitors a clear path to verify the review independently.

How to Show the Social Platform Icon on Your Avatar Group Widget

Step 1: Open the Widgets Section

Log in to your Feedspace account. In the left sidebar, click Widgets to open your list of saved widgets.

Step 2: Edit Your Avatar Group Widget

Locate your Avatar Group widget in the list. Click the Edit icon (pencil) next to it to open the widget editor.

Step 3: Go to the Design Tab

Inside the widget editor, click the Design tab at the top of the editor panel. This tab contains all visual and layout customization options for the widget.

Step 4: Find the Widget Content Customization Section

Scroll down within the Design tab until you reach the Widget Content Customization section. This section groups all toggles that control which elements appear on reviewer cards inside the widget.

Step 5: Enable Show Social Platform Icon

Toggle Show Social Platform Icon to the on position. The platform logo (for example, the Google or Trustpilot icon) will now appear on each reviewer card in the Avatar Group cluster.

Step 6: Optionally Enable Social Redirection

Once Show Social Platform Icon is on, a nested Social Redirection toggle appears beneath it. Enable this toggle if you want the platform icon to be clickable, directing visitors to the original review page on the source platform. Leave it off if you want the icon to appear as a visual indicator only, without any link behaviour.

Step 7: Save and Publish

Click Save to apply your changes. Your Avatar Group widget will now display the platform icon on each reviewer card. Refresh any page where the widget is embedded to see the updated display.

What You Can Do Next

  • Enable or disable star ratings on the Avatar Group widget to complement the platform icon display and control how much review detail is shown in the cluster.
  • Adjust the overall design of your Avatar Group widget, including colors, font, and layout, to ensure the newly visible platform icons fit your brand style.
  • Embed the updated Avatar Group widget on additional pages of your website, such as pricing or landing pages, where social proof with visible platform icons can lift conversions.
  • Review which platforms your imported testimonials come from and import more reviews from high-trust sources like Google or Trustpilot so the platform icons carry maximum credibility in the widget.
