The Masonry widget in Feedspace displays your reviews in a Pinterest-style staggered grid, where columns of varying heights let many reviews be visible at the same time. Because the Masonry layout is designed to show a large, diverse collection of reviews at once, keeping those reviews fresh and high quality by hand can quickly become time consuming.

The Setup Automation feature in the Select Reviews tab solves this by letting you define rules once. Feedspace then automatically populates your Masonry grid with reviews that match your chosen criteria, such as star rating, sentiment, review type, or specific keywords. The result is a grid that stays stocked with varied, relevant social proof without any ongoing manual curation.

How to Use Automation to Auto-Select Reviews for Your Masonry Widget

Step 1: Open Your Masonry Widget

Log in to Feedspace and navigate to Share Reviews in the left sidebar, then click Widgets. Open the Masonry widget you want to configure, or create a new one.

Step 2: Go to the Select Reviews Tab

Inside the widget editor, click the Select Reviews tab. This is where you choose which reviews appear in your Masonry grid, either manually or through automation.

Step 3: Click Setup Automation

In the Select Reviews tab, click the Setup Automation button. This opens the automation rule panel where you can define the criteria that reviews must meet to be included in your Masonry widget automatically.

Step 4: Configure Your Automation Rules

Set one or more of the following rules to control which reviews are auto-selected for your Masonry grid:

• Keywords: Enter words or phrases that must appear in a review for it to qualify, letting you surface reviews that mention specific features, products, or use cases.

Step 5: Save the Automation Rules

Once your rules are configured, save them. Feedspace will immediately apply the criteria and populate the Select Reviews list with all matching reviews. Your Masonry grid will reflect this selection when the widget is embedded or refreshed on your site.

Step 6: Save and Embed Your Widget

After confirming the auto-selected reviews look right for your Masonry layout, click Save & Next and copy the embed code. Paste it into your website to publish the widget. Going forward, any new reviews that meet your rules will be included automatically, keeping every column of your Masonry grid filled with fresh content.
