How Do I Connect Feedspace to Perplexity?

Overview

Feedspace supports connecting to Perplexity through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Once the connection is active, you can open a Perplexity chat and ask it to retrieve, filter, and analyse your Feedspace review data, all without leaving the Perplexity interface.

Before you begin

You must have an active Feedspace account with at least one workspace.
You must have a Perplexity account with the Connectors settings available.

Step 1: Copy the MCP URL from Feedspace

Open your profile menu

Open the Connectors tab

Click Connectors. The My Account panel opens on the Connectors tab.

Open the Perplexity instructions

Find the Perplexity card and click View Instruction.

Copy the MCP URL

In the dialog that opens, click the copy icon next to the MCP URL to copy it. The URL is https://mcp.feedspace.io/mcp.

Step 2: Add the Feedspace connector in Perplexity

Open perplexity.ai and sign in to your account.
Go to Settings, then Connectors.
Choose Add custom connector and select MCP.
Paste the Feedspace MCP URL (https://mcp.feedspace.io/mcp) as the server endpoint.
Complete the Feedspace sign-in prompt to grant access.
Mention Feedspace in your search to use the connector.

Step 3: Query your Feedspace data in Perplexity

Once the connector is saved, open a new chat in Perplexity. You can now ask Perplexity to access your Feedspace review data using natural language. Examples of what you can ask:

List the most recent testimonials collected in Feedspace.
Find all reviews that mention a specific product feature by name.
Summarise the overall customer sentiment across all collected feedback.
Show testimonials from customers who gave a five-star rating.

Perplexity will call the Feedspace MCP connector, retrieve the relevant data, and present results directly in the chat interface.

Common questions

Do I need to share my Feedspace password with Perplexity?

No, never. After you paste the MCP URL, Perplexity opens a Feedspace sign-in prompt and you sign in to Feedspace directly to grant access. Your password is entered on Feedspace, not in Perplexity, and Perplexity never sees or stores it.

Is the MCP URL the same for all AI tools?

Yes. Feedspace uses a single MCP URL for all supported AI platforms: https://mcp.feedspace.io/mcp. Only the location where you paste it differs between platforms.

Perplexity does not show a Connectors or MCP section in Settings

Perplexity moves this section as its settings change. Look under Settings for Connectors, and check perplexity.ai for its current location. The View Instruction guide on the Perplexity card in Feedspace shows the Feedspace side of the setup.

What you can do next
