How Do I Connect Slack to Feedspace?

Last updated on June 18, 2026

Overview

Feedspace has a native Slack integration that sends a notification to a Slack channel every time a new review is submitted on your form. You connect your Slack workspace once using OAuth, pick a channel, and notifications start flowing automatically.

Steps to connect Slack

  1. Log in to your Feedspace dashboard and click Automation in the left sidebar.
  2. Click the Integrations tab.
  3. On the Slack card, click Connect. Your browser opens the Slack OAuth consent screen.
  4. Select your Slack workspace and approve access. Feedspace redirects you back and shows a success message. The Slack card now shows a green Connected badge.
  5. Click Choose channel. The Manage Slack Integration modal opens.
  6. Open the channel dropdown and select the channel where you want to receive review notifications.
  7. Click Save. The modal closes and the card shows the selected channel name with notifications active.

Pause, resume, or change channel

  • To pause notifications, toggle the on/off switch on the Slack card to off. Toggle it back on to resume.
  • To change the channel, click the settings icon on the Slack card, pick a new channel in the Manage Slack Integration modal, and click Save.
  • To send a test message and confirm the channel is working, open the Manage Slack Integration modal and click Send test.

What’s next

  • To stop receiving notifications, disconnect Slack from the Integrations tab.
  • To set up webhook-based notifications for other tools, go to the Webhook tab in Automation.

Common questions

Can I send notifications to a private Slack channel?

Yes. First invite the Feedspace bot to the private channel in Slack by typing /invite @Feedspace in that channel. Then open the Manage Slack Integration modal in Feedspace, click Refresh to reload the channel list, and the private channel will appear in the dropdown for you to select.

What happens if I see an “Action needed” badge on the Slack card?

This means your Slack connection token has expired or been revoked. Click Reconnect on the card to go through the OAuth flow again. Your previously selected channel is preserved after reconnecting.
