What is Make Integration in Feedspace?

Overview

Feedspace integrates with Make (formerly Integromat), a visual automation platform that lets you connect Feedspace with thousands of other apps using a drag-and-drop scenario builder. Feedspace connects to Make via webhooks — when a new testimonial is submitted, Feedspace sends the data to a Make scenario instantly.

Automation through webhooks is available on Professional and Business plans in Feedspace.

What you can automate with Make

Common scenarios you can build:

• Send a Slack or Discord message when a new testimonial arrives
• Forward testimonial alerts to Telegram or WhatsApp
• Automatically back up video testimonials to Google Drive or Dropbox
• Submit testimonials to Feedspace from a Notion database via the Feedspace API

How the connection works

Feedspace does not have a native app in Make. The connection uses two approaches depending on the direction of data flow:

• Feedspace triggers Make — create a Custom webhook trigger in Make (using the built-in Webhooks app), copy the Webhook URL, then register it in Feedspace under Automation, Webhook tab. When a new testimonial arrives, Feedspace sends the payload to Make instantly.
• Make submits to Feedspace — use Make’s built-in HTTP module with a Basic Auth request to the Feedspace REST API. Credentials (API Key and Secret Key) are found under Automation, API tab in Feedspace.

Steps to set up your first scenario

1. Log in to Make and click + Create scenario.
2. Click the + button on the canvas, search for Webhooks, and select Custom webhook as the trigger.
3. Click Create a webhook, name it, click Save, then copy the Webhook URL.
4. In your Feedspace dashboard, click Automation in the sidebar, click the Webhook tab, click Create Webhook, paste the URL into the Endpoint URL field, click Create Webhook, then click Activate.
5. Back in Make, click + after the webhook trigger to add the app you want to send data to (Slack, Google Drive, Discord, etc.).
6. Click Run once to test, then toggle the scenario On.

Do I need a paid Make plan?

Make has a free plan with 1,000 operations per month. For high-volume workflows, a paid Make plan gives you more operations. On the Feedspace side, automation requires a Professional or Business plan.

How is Make different from Zapier or Pabbly Connect?

Make uses a visual drag-and-drop scenario builder with advanced flow controls (routers, filters, iterators). Zapier calls its automations “Zaps” and Pabbly Connect calls them “Workflows”. Make connects to Feedspace via webhooks, while Zapier and Pabbly Connect connect using the Feedspace Automation Secret Key through their native Feedspace app.
