What is Automation in Feedspace?

Overview

Automation in Feedspace lets you connect your workspace with other tools and services. Using the Feedspace Automation Secret Key, API, and webhooks, you can send real-time notifications to apps like Slack, Telegram, WhatsApp, and Discord, back up testimonials to Google Drive or Dropbox, and push event data to any custom system.

For example, a SaaS team can set up an automation so that every new testimonial triggers a Slack message to their customer success channel, keeping the whole team informed without any manual checking.

Step 1: Access automation settings

Go to your Feedspace workspace and click Automation in the left sidebar. The Automation module has four tabs: Automation, API, Webhook, and Integrations.

Step 2: Copy your Automation Secret Key

On the Automation tab, you’ll find the Automation Secret Key. This key authenticates your Feedspace account when connecting to external tools like Zapier, Make, or Pabbly Connect. Click Generate Automation Secret Key if you have not created one yet, then copy it.

Step 3: Set up notifications

On the Automation tab, scroll down to the integrations section and choose the platform where you want to receive updates:

• Slack: connect to your workspace to receive real-time notifications.
• Telegram: link your Telegram account for automated updates.
• Discord: keep your server updated with new activities.
• WhatsApp: get direct updates on your WhatsApp account.

Click Connect on the desired app and follow the authentication flow.

Step 4: Configure backups

To keep your Feedspace data backed up automatically, connect a cloud storage service from the Automation tab:

• Connect Google Drive for automatic data sync.
• Connect Dropbox for continuous backup storage.

Step 5: Advanced automation

For deeper integrations, use the other tabs in the Automation module:

• API tab: generate your API Key and Secret Key to integrate Feedspace directly with your software.
