Feedspace gives you two distinct ways to control which reviews appear on your widget. Understanding each mode will help you get exactly the experience you want.
By default, your widget uses manual selection. In this mode, you visit the Select Reviews tab inside your widget settings and hand-pick each review you want to display. New reviews that come in after you save your selection do not appear on the widget until you return to that tab and add them yourself.
This gives you complete editorial control. You can highlight your strongest testimonials, maintain a consistent tone, and keep your widget looking exactly as you intended, regardless of how many new reviews arrive.
If you prefer a hands-off approach, the Automation toggle in the Select Reviews tab is exactly what you need. When you enable Automation, you set filter criteria such as minimum star rating, review source, or a keyword. Any new review that matches your criteria is added to your widget automatically, with no action required from you.
This is ideal if you collect reviews at a high volume and want your widget to stay fresh without ongoing manual effort. Your filters ensure that only high-quality, relevant reviews make it onto the widget, so you keep quality control while saving time.
