Overview
If you are wondering whether Feedspace limits the number of reviews you can show in a widget, you will be pleased to know there is no hard cap. You can select as many reviews as you have in your account, and each widget type is built to display them smoothly. This article walks you through how each widget handles your review collection so you can choose the best setup for your needs.
How Each Widget Type Handles Your Reviews
Every widget you create in Feedspace draws from the reviews you have selected for it. The number of reviews you can include is only limited by how many reviews exist in your account. Here is how each widget type presents your selected reviews.
Slider and Carousel Widgets
The Carousel, Cross Slider, and Avatar Card Carousel widgets display your selected reviews in a continuous loop. Visitors scroll or swipe through each review one at a time, and the widget cycles back to the beginning once it reaches the end. All selected reviews are included in the rotation, regardless of how many you choose.
Scroll Widgets
The Vertical Scroll, Horizontal Scroll, and Strip Slider widgets move through your selected reviews in a continuous, auto-scrolling loop. Every review you have selected will appear as the widget scrolls, creating an always-on display that cycles through your full collection without any manual interaction from visitors.
Masonry Widget
The Masonry widget lays out all your selected reviews in a responsive grid. You can also enable a Load More button, which initially shows a set number of cards and reveals additional reviews as visitors click through. This makes it easy to display a large collection without overwhelming visitors on first load.
Practical Guidance on Review Count
While there is no hard limit, selecting between 20 and 50 reviews is a practical range that keeps your widget loading quickly and looking its best across all device types. That said, you are free to include more if you have a rich collection and want to give visitors a fuller picture of your customers’ experiences.
What You Can Do Next
- Open the Feedspace widget editor and use the review selection panel to add or remove reviews from your widget, selecting as many as you like from your account.
- If you are using a Masonry widget, enable the Load More button in the widget settings to let visitors browse a larger collection without an overwhelming first load.
- Test your widget preview after selecting reviews to confirm it looks and performs exactly as you want before embedding it on your website.
- Explore the Carousel or Scroll widget types if you want to showcase a large review collection in a compact, visually engaging format that loops automatically.
