Overview
Customized Import lets you tag reviews with labels and set an automatic translation language before you finish importing them from an automated fetch, instead of applying labels or translations one by one afterward.
This is useful when you fetch a batch of reviews from a platform like Trustpilot or Google Business and want them organized from the moment they land in your Feedbox, for example tagging every review from a specific campaign with the same label, or bringing in reviews written in another language already translated for your team.
Steps to use Customized Import
Step 1: Fetch reviews from a platform
Log in to your Feedspace account. In the left sidebar, click Import, paste a supported platform URL into the input, and click the action button that appears (for example Fetch Reviews) to open the review selection screen.
Step 2: Select the reviews you want to import
Tick the checkboxes on the reviews you want, or click Select All. The sticky bar at the bottom of the screen shows how many reviews are selected.
Step 3: Open Customized Import
For platforms that support tagging, a Customized Import button appears in the sticky footer bar beside Import Review. Click it to open the customization panel.
Step 4: Choose labels to apply
In the Review Labels picker, search for and select the labels you want applied to every review in this import. You can also create a new label directly from this picker if the one you need does not exist yet.
Step 5: Set an auto translate language, if needed
Use the Auto Translate dropdown to choose a language the imported reviews should be translated into. This option is marked Premium and requires an eligible plan.
Step 6: Import your reviews
Click Import Review in the sticky footer bar. Your selected reviews are imported with the labels and translation language you chose already applied.
What’s next
After importing, you can review your labeled reviews in the Feedbox, or set up auto sync for this platform so future reviews keep arriving with the same treatment automatically. You can also manage your review labels at any time from Feedbox.
Common questions
Why don’t I see a Customized Import button when fetching reviews from some platforms?
The Customized Import button only appears for platforms that support tagging reviews during import. If a platform does not support this yet, you can still apply labels to individual reviews afterward from the Feedbox.
Can I choose labels without also setting a translation language?
Yes. Review Labels and Auto Translate are independent settings inside Customized Import. You can select labels only, choose a translation language only, or use both together.
