Can I Edit or Hide the Date Shown on a Review in Feedspace?

Overview

Every review in your Feedspace Feedbox carries a date. You can change that date from the review’s edit panel, and you can decide whether it appears on the public display with the Show Review Date toggle in your widget or Wall of Love.

This is handy when an imported review came in with the wrong date, or when you want a clean wall of testimonials without dates pulling focus from the words. You control the date value in one place and its visibility in another, so the two are independent.

Steps to edit the date on a review

Log in to your Feedspace dashboard and click Feedbox in the left sidebar.
Find the review you want to change, click the three-dot menu on it, then click Edit.
In the edit panel, find the Review Date field and click it to open the date picker.
Pick the new date. Your change is saved with the rest of the review’s details.

Steps to hide the date on the public display

The date does not have to show where you publish reviews. Both widgets and your Wall of Love have a toggle for it on the Design tab.

For a widget, click Widgets in the left sidebar. For a Wall of Love, click Pages in the left sidebar.
Click the pencil (Edit) icon on the widget or page you want to change.
Open the Design tab.
Turn off the Show Review Date toggle. The live preview drops the date so you can confirm the look.
Click Save and Next to keep the change.

Common questions

Does editing the date change the original review text?

No. The Review Date field only changes the date. The review text, rating, and reviewer details stay as they are.

If I hide the date on one widget, does it disappear everywhere?

No. The Show Review Date toggle is set per widget and per Wall of Love, so you can show the date in one place and hide it in another.

Where does the date come from on an imported review?

It carries over from the source when the review is imported. If it looks off, open the review’s edit panel and set the Review Date field to the date you want.
