Feedspace can turn the speech in a video or audio review into readable text. Depending on your plan, new reviews are transcribed for you as they arrive, or you create the transcript yourself with one click.
A transcript makes a spoken review easy to skim, quote on your website, or reuse as a text testimonial. It also helps visitors who would rather read than watch.
Log in to your Feedspace dashboard and click Feedbox in the left sidebar.
Click the review card. The Review Details panel opens with the player at the top and, right below it, a section headed Video Transcript or Audio Transcript.
If the transcript text is already there, skip to the next step. If the section says Feedspace is generating your transcript, it is already on its way, so check back shortly. If you see a Generate Transcript button instead, click it. The text appears in the same section once Feedspace has processed the recording. If your plan does not include transcripts, the section shows Upgrade your plan to unlock instead.
A long transcript is shortened with a Read more link. Click Read more to see the full text, or Read less to collapse it again.
With the transcript ready, you can reuse the review as a text testimonial or tidy up the wording. To correct the text, open the review’s edit form and update the transcript field. See how to edit a review in Feedspace.
Yes. Open the review with Edit Review, where the transcript is an editable field. Correct any wording and save.
Automatic transcripts only cover reviews that arrive while your plan includes them, so older reviews may not have one. Open any review without a transcript and click Generate Transcript to create it.
