Feedspace can turn the speech in a video or audio review into readable text. Open a review in your Feedbox, click Generate Transcript, and Feedspace writes out what the reviewer said.
A transcript makes a spoken review easy to skim, quote on your website, or reuse as a text testimonial. It also helps visitors who would rather read than watch.
Log in to your Feedspace dashboard and click Feedbox in the left sidebar.
Click the review card to open its detail panel on the right. The panel shows the player, the rating, and a transcript section headed Video Transcript or Audio Transcript.
In the transcript section, click Generate Transcript. The button shows Generating… while Feedspace processes the recording, and the transcript text appears in the same section when it is ready. If your plan does not include transcripts, this section shows Upgrade your plan to unlock instead of the button.
A long transcript is shortened with a Read more link. Click Read more to see the full text, or Read less to collapse it again.
With the transcript ready, you can reuse the review as a text testimonial or tidy up the wording. To correct the text, open the review’s edit form and update the transcript field. See how to edit a review in Feedspace.
In the review’s detail panel in Feedbox, under the Video Transcript or Audio Transcript heading, right below the player.
Yes. Open the review’s edit form, where the transcript is an editable field. Correct any wording and save.
Yes. Open each video or audio review and click Generate Transcript in its detail panel. A review that has no transcript yet shows the message “No transcript available. Click the Generate Transcript button to create a transcript.”
