How Do I Resume a Paused Review Form in Feedspace?

Last updated on June 11, 2026

Feedspace’s pause feature gives you precise control over when your form is accepting submissions, which is great for seasonal campaigns or form updates. If your form is showing as paused and you are ready to collect reviews again, one of the steps below will get it active immediately.

What You Can Do

  • Restart testimonial collection for a new campaign or product launch in seconds
  • Re-activate a form after improvements without losing its existing stats or history
  • Coordinate testimonial timing with product releases, events, or seasonal campaigns
  • Maintain full control over exactly when your form is live and accepting responses

Reason 1: The Form Was Manually Paused

The most common reason is that someone on your team paused the form intentionally, for example to update it before re-launching a campaign.

To resume the form:

  1. Log in to Feedspace and go to Forms in the left sidebar.
  2. Find the paused form. It will show a Paused badge on the form card.
  3. Click the toggle on the form card to switch the form from Paused to Active.

Reason 2: Form Pausing Requires a Paid Plan

Form pausing is a feature available on paid Feedspace plans. If your account is on a free plan and you see the form listed as paused, it is possible the form was paused before a plan downgrade. Upgrade your plan to resume the form, or contact Feedspace support for assistance.

Reason 3: You Are Looking at the Wrong Form

If you have multiple forms, verify you are checking the correct one. Look at the form URL you shared with reviewers, then match it to the form with the same name or slug in the Forms list.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do reviews submitted before the pause still appear in my testimonials?

Yes. Pausing a form only stops new submissions. All reviews already collected remain in your testimonials library and are not affected.

What do reviewers see when a form is paused?

Reviewers who visit the form URL see a message that the form is temporarily unavailable. They cannot record or submit anything until the form is resumed.

Is a paused form the same as a deleted form?

No. Pausing is reversible and only stops new submissions. Deleting a form permanently removes it along with all its settings. A deleted form cannot be restored.
