Overview
The classic review form in Feedspace is the manual form builder. You choose the Classic Review Form option, name the form, and then edit every field, question, design choice, and setting yourself in the form editor.
Use this path when you already know exactly what you want the form to ask and you would rather write it yourself than start from an AI-generated draft. You stay in full control of the title, description, user fields, thank-you screen, and branding from the first click.
Steps to create a classic review form
Step 1: Open Forms and start a new form
- Log in to your Feedspace dashboard and click Forms in the left sidebar.
- Click New Form at the top right of the forms list, or Create Form if you have no forms yet.
Step 2: Choose Classic Review Form
If the create modal shows a type picker with two cards, click the Classic Review Form card to continue with the manual builder instead of the AI-native form. If your account only has the classic form available, the modal moves straight to the next step and there is nothing to pick.
Step 3: Name the form
Select the Manual option, type a form name in the input field, then click Create and Proceed. The name can be up to 128 characters and you can change it later in the editor. This skips the AI prompt entirely and takes you straight to the form editor.
Step 4: Edit the form by hand in the editor
The form editor opens automatically on the Capture Review tab with a live preview on the left and editable fields on the right. Work through the tabs to make the form your own:
- Capture Review: edit the Title, rewrite the Description with the rich text toolbar, and set the User Instruction text.
- User Details: choose which contact fields the reviewer fills in.
- Thank You: set the message reviewers see after they submit.
- Settings: upload a logo, set a background, pick a button color, and adjust branding.
Step 5: Save your changes
- Click Save and Next to save the current tab and move to the next one.
- On the Share tab, the button reads Save and Share, where you can copy the form link or get the embed code.
What’s next
Once the form looks right, open the Share tab to copy the public link, generate a QR code, or grab the embed code for your site. To redirect reviewers to your Google or other profiles after they submit, see how to add social redirection in review forms.
Common questions
Does the manual path use AI at all?
No. Choosing the Manual option and naming the form skips the AI prompt completely. The editor opens with the standard fields, and every field, question, and piece of text reflects only what you write.
What is the difference between the classic form and the AI-native form?
The classic form is the standard manual builder where you edit each tab yourself. The AI-native form is a separate interview-style form type that opens in its own editor. Picking Classic Review Form keeps you in the manual builder.
Can I rename the form after creating it?
Yes. In the editor, hover over the form name in the top-left of the header, click the pencil icon, type the new name, and confirm. The name updates in the header and in the forms list.
