How Do I Add a Border to Review Cards on My Vertical Scroll Widget in Feedspace?

Last updated on June 12, 2026

Overview

The Vertical Scroll widget displays your review cards in a continuously looping vertical feed, one card flowing into the next in a seamless stream. Because each card scrolls past independently, giving cards a visible border helps visitors instantly recognise where one review ends and the next begins, making the feed easier to read as it moves.

The Show Review Card Border toggle in the Widget Color Customization section lets you add a fully customizable border around every card in the feed. Once the toggle is on, you can control three properties: Border Thickness (1px to 12px), Border Radius (None through XX-Large for rounded corners), and Border Color via a color picker. Together these options let you match the border style to your site’s design, whether that is a sharp, thin outline or a soft, rounded frame.

How to Add a Border to Review Cards on Your Vertical Scroll Widget

Step 1: Open the Widgets Section

Log in to your Feedspace account. In the left-hand navigation, click Widgets to open the widget library where all your existing widgets are listed.

Step 2: Edit Your Vertical Scroll Widget

Find the Vertical Scroll widget you want to update and click the Edit button (pencil icon) next to it. The widget editor will open, showing all configuration options for that widget.

Step 3: Go to the Design Tab

Inside the widget editor, click the Design tab at the top of the settings panel. This tab contains all visual customization options for the widget, including layout, typography, colors, and card styling.

Step 4: Find the Widget Color Customization Section

Scroll down within the Design tab until you reach the Widget Color Customization section. This section groups all color and border-related card options together.

Step 5: Enable the Show Review Card Border Toggle

Locate the Show Review Card Border toggle and click it to turn it on. Three sub-options will appear immediately below the toggle:

  • Border Thickness: Use the slider or input field to set the border width from 1px up to 12px. A value of 1px to 2px gives a subtle outline, while higher values create a bold frame around each card.
  • Border Radius: Choose how rounded the card corners should be. Options range from None (sharp square corners) through Small, Medium, Large, X-Large, and XX-Large for progressively more rounded corners.
  • Border Color: Click the color picker to choose any color for the border. You can enter a hex code, use the color wheel, or adjust opacity to match your brand palette.

Step 6: Save and Preview Your Widget

Once you are satisfied with your border settings, click Save to apply the changes. Use the live preview panel to confirm the border appears correctly on each card as the vertical feed scrolls through your reviews.
