How Do I Add an Inline CTA to My Avatar Blocks Widget in Feedspace?

Last updated on June 12, 2026

Overview

The Avatar Blocks widget displays reviewer avatars and testimonials side by side in a structured block grid. Each block presents a clean pairing of a profile image, reviewer name, and testimonial text, giving visitors a visually organised view of your social proof. The inline CTA option builds on this layout by inserting a call-to-action card directly into the grid, sitting alongside the review blocks as a natural part of the flow.

When you enable the inline CTA toggle in the Design tab, a dedicated card appears within the Avatar Blocks grid. You can set a heading, body text, button label, button URL, button colour, card background colour, and card border style. For Masonry and Vertical Scroll layout variants, you also control CTA Position, choosing either Random placement or insertion after every X reviews. This turns your testimonial grid into an active conversion surface without disrupting the clean block structure your visitors see.

How to Add an Inline CTA to Your Avatar Blocks Widget

Step 1: Open Your Widgets

Log in to your Feedspace account. In the left sidebar, click Widgets to open the Widgets section. You will see a list of all widgets you have created.

Step 2: Edit Your Avatar Blocks Widget

Find your Avatar Blocks widget in the list. Click the Edit button (or the widget name) to open the widget editor. The editor loads with the widget preview on one side and the configuration panel on the other.

Step 3: Go to the Design Tab

Inside the widget editor, locate the tab bar at the top of the configuration panel. Click the Design tab to switch to the design settings. This tab contains all visual and layout options for your Avatar Blocks widget.

Step 4: Find the Inline CTA Section

Scroll down within the Design tab until you reach the Inline CTA section. You will see a toggle at the top of this section. Click the toggle to enable the inline CTA feature. Once enabled, the full set of CTA configuration fields becomes visible below the toggle.

Step 5: Configure the CTA Card Fields

With the inline CTA enabled, fill in each field to build your CTA card:

  • CTA Heading Text: Enter the main headline for your CTA card, such as “Ready to collect more reviews?”
  • CTA Body Text: Add a short supporting sentence that reinforces your headline and guides the visitor.
  • CTA Button Label: Enter the button text, such as “Get Started” or “Try for Free”.
  • CTA Button URL: Paste the destination URL the button should link to when clicked.
  • CTA Button Color: Choose a button colour that stands out against the card background.
  • CTA Card Background: Select a background colour for the CTA card to distinguish it from the review blocks.
  • CTA Card Border: Set a border style or colour to visually frame the CTA card within the grid.

Step 6: Set CTA Position (Masonry and Vertical Scroll Layouts)

If your Avatar Blocks widget uses the Masonry or Vertical Scroll layout, an additional CTA Position control appears. Choose Random to place the CTA card at a random position within the grid, or choose Every X reviews and enter a number to insert the CTA card after every X review blocks. This lets you control how frequently the CTA surfaces as visitors scroll through your testimonials.

Step 7: Save and Preview Your Widget

After filling in all CTA fields, click Save to apply your changes. Check the live preview panel to confirm the CTA card appears correctly within the Avatar Blocks grid alongside the review blocks. If your widget is already embedded on a page, the changes take effect immediately.

What You Can Do Next

  • Adjust the CTA card background and border colours to match your brand palette so the card blends naturally with your Avatar Blocks grid.
  • Test different CTA Position values (every 3, every 5, or Random) to find the placement frequency that drives the most clicks without interrupting the review browsing experience.
  • Update the CTA Button URL to a targeted landing page or sign-up flow that is relevant to the audience viewing your testimonials.
  • Explore other design options in the Design tab, such as block spacing and avatar size, to refine how your Avatar Blocks widget presents reviews alongside the new CTA card.
