How Do I Add an Inline CTA to My Avatar Group Widget in Feedspace?

Overview

An inline CTA (call to action) adds a button to your Avatar Group widget in Feedspace. You set the words on the button, the page it opens and the button’s color.

An Avatar Group often sits right beside a sign-up form or a “Get started” headline as a “trusted by thousands” signal. Adding a button there lets a visitor act at the moment the faces have convinced them, for example Join them free.

Steps to add an inline CTA

Step 1: Locate the widget

Click Widgets in the Feedspace sidebar and find your Avatar Group.

Step 2: Go to its Design tab

Select the Edit (pencil) icon on its card, then Design.

Step 3: Turn on Inline CTA

Scroll to Inline CTA Section and switch on Inline CTA. Three fields open below it.

Step 4: Fill in the button

• CTA Button Label: the button text, up to 60 characters.
• CTA Button URL: the full address of the page it opens.
• CTA Button Color: click the swatch or type a hex code.

Step 5: Save your CTA

Click Save & Next.

What’s next

• Open the page with the widget and click the button once to check where it leads.
• Show star ratings next to the avatars to strengthen the trust signal beside your button.

Common questions

Can I add a heading or body text to the CTA?

Not on the Avatar Group. Its CTA is a button with a label, a link and a color. CTA Heading Text and CTA Body Text are available on larger widget types such as Carousel and Masonry.
