Overview

The Cross Slider widget presents each review as the sole focus on screen, using a distinctive cross-directional slide transition to move from one testimonial to the next. Because a single review occupies the full viewer’s attention at any given moment, it creates a natural pause, making it an ideal point to place a call-to-action.

The Inline CTA option in the Design tab lets you insert a dedicated CTA card directly into the slider rotation. When the card appears, it receives the same full-focus treatment as every review, so your call-to-action is not buried below the widget or hidden in a sidebar. You can customise the heading text, body text, button label, button URL, button color, card background, and card border to match your brand and campaign goals.

How to Add an Inline CTA to Your Cross Slider Widget

Step 1: Open Your Widgets Dashboard

Log in to your Feedspace account. In the left navigation, click Widgets to open the Widgets dashboard. You will see a list of all widgets you have created.

Step 2: Edit Your Cross Slider Widget

Find the Cross Slider widget you want to update. Click the Edit button (or the widget name) to open the widget editor.

Step 3: Go to the Design Tab

Inside the widget editor, click the Design tab at the top of the editor panel. This tab contains all visual and layout options for your Cross Slider widget.

Step 4: Find the Inline CTA Section

Scroll down through the Design tab until you reach the Inline CTA section. Click the toggle to enable the Inline CTA card. Once enabled, the configuration fields will appear below the toggle.

Step 5: Configure the CTA Card Fields

Fill in the available fields to build your CTA card:

CTA Heading Text: The primary headline displayed on the CTA card, such as “Ready to collect your own reviews?”
CTA Body Text: A short supporting sentence that gives visitors context or a reason to click.
CTA Button Label: The text shown on the button, such as “Get Started” or “Try Feedspace Free”.
CTA Button URL: The destination URL the button links to when clicked.
CTA Button Color: The background color of the button. Use your brand color to keep the card visually consistent.
CTA Card Background: The background color of the entire CTA card.
CTA Card Border: The border style or color applied to the card edge, helping it stand out from or blend with review cards.

Step 6: Save and Preview

Once all fields are filled in, click Save. Use the widget preview to confirm that the CTA card appears in the slider rotation and transitions correctly with the cross-directional slide animation alongside your review cards.
