How Do I Adjust the Scroll Speed on My Strip Slider Widget in Feedspace?

Last updated on June 12, 2026

Overview

The Strip Slider widget displays your reviews as a compact, horizontal strip of cards that scrolls continuously across the page in a marquee-style loop. Because the entire widget experience depends on that uninterrupted motion, how fast the cards move has a direct impact on whether visitors can comfortably read each review or whether the content passes by too quickly to register.

The Scroll Speed slider in the Marquee Settings section gives you precise control over that pace. Four preset speeds are available: Delayed, Slow, Medium, and Fast. A delayed or slow speed works well on pages where you want visitors to absorb each review without any effort, while a faster speed suits decorative placements where the visual momentum matters more than readability. Matching the scroll speed to your page’s purpose lets the Strip Slider feel intentional rather than distracting.

How to Adjust the Scroll Speed for Your Strip Slider Widget

Step 1: Open the Widgets Section

Log in to your Feedspace account. In the left-hand navigation, click Widgets to open the list of all widgets you have created.

Step 2: Edit Your Strip Slider Widget

Locate the Strip Slider widget you want to update. Click the Edit button (or the pencil icon) next to that widget to open its settings editor.

Step 3: Go to the Design Tab

Inside the widget editor, click the Design tab at the top of the settings panel. This tab contains all visual and layout controls for the Strip Slider, including the Marquee Settings section.

Step 4: Find the Marquee Settings Section

Scroll down the Design tab until you reach the Marquee Settings section. This section groups all controls related to how the strip scrolls, including direction and speed.

Step 5: Set the Scroll Speed

Click the Scroll Speed slider and choose one of the four available options: Delayed, Slow, Medium, or Fast. The preview panel updates immediately so you can judge how the chosen speed looks before saving.

Step 6: Save Your Changes

Once you are satisfied with the scroll speed, click the Save button to apply the change. The updated speed will take effect immediately on any page where the Strip Slider embed code is already placed.

What You Can Do Next

  • Enable alternate direction scrolling on your Strip Slider to make the strip reverse direction and add visual variety to the marquee loop.
  • Customize other design options on your Strip Slider widget, such as card size, background color, and font style, to match your brand.
  • Embed the updated Strip Slider on a new landing page or product page to showcase reviews exactly where visitors make purchase decisions.
  • Create a second Strip Slider widget with a different scroll speed to A/B test which pace drives more engagement on your site.
