How Do I Change the Order of Reviews in My Strip Slider Widget in Feedspace?

Overview

The Strip Slider widget displays your reviews in a compact horizontal row of cards that slides across the page. Because the strip loads with only a few cards visible at a time, the review that appears first carries the most weight. Visitors scrolling quickly may never slide past that opening card, so placing your most compelling testimonial at position one directly influences first impressions.

Feedspace gives you two ways to control that sequence inside the widget editor. The Sort By dropdown applies a quick chronological sort across all selected reviews. The Change Order sub-tab lets you drag each card into any position you choose, giving you full manual control over what the strip shows first, second, and so on.

How to Change the Order of Reviews for Your Strip Slider Widget

Step 1: Open Your Strip Slider Widget in the Editor

Log in to Feedspace and go to the Widgets section. Locate the Strip Slider widget you want to edit and click on it to open the widget editor.

Step 2: Navigate to the Reviews Tab

Inside the widget editor, click the Reviews tab. This tab controls which reviews are included in the strip and in what sequence they appear.

Step 3: Click the Change Order Sub-Tab

Within the Reviews tab, click the Change Order sub-tab. This view lists all the reviews currently selected for the strip as draggable cards.

Step 4: Drag Reviews into Your Preferred Sequence

Click and hold the drag handle on any review card, then drag it up or down to reposition it. Place your highest-impact review at the top of the list so it loads as the first card in the strip. Repeat for any other reviews you want to reposition.

Step 5: Use Sort By for a Quick Chronological Sort (Optional)

If you prefer a date-based order rather than a manual sequence, open the Sort By dropdown in the Reviews tab and choose one of the following options:

• Newest First: The most recently collected review appears as the first card in the strip.
• Oldest First: The earliest collected review appears first, useful for showing the longevity of your social proof.

Step 6: Save and Publish Your Changes

Once you are satisfied with the review order, click Save to apply the changes. The Strip Slider widget embedded on your site will immediately reflect the new sequence.

What You Can Do Next

• Select or swap out the reviews included in your strip by visiting the Select Reviews sub-tab so the card lineup stays fresh and relevant.
• Adjust the number of visible cards and the slide speed in the Settings tab to match the width of the section where the strip is embedded.
• Copy the updated embed code from the widget editor and re-paste it into your page builder if your site does not auto-refresh embedded widgets.
• Revisit the review order regularly as you collect new testimonials, promoting your latest high-rated review to position one to keep the strip current.
