The Horizontal Scroll widget displays your review cards in a continuously looping ticker that scrolls across the page. Because every card moves past visitors in a tight, side-by-side stream, the fill color of each card has a direct impact on how readable and visually cohesive the ticker appears. The Card Background Color picker in the Widget Color Customization section lets you choose the exact fill color applied to every review card in the scroll. Swapping the default white or transparent fill for a color that matches your site palette helps the cards feel like a natural part of your page rather than an inserted element. On widgets that support it, a Card on Hover Color picker also appears so you can set a different card fill when a visitor moves their cursor over a card, adding a subtle interactive highlight to the scrolling ticker.
Log in to your Feedspace account and navigate to the Widgets section from the left-hand sidebar. You will see a list of all the widgets you have created for your workspace.
Find the Horizontal Scroll widget you want to update and click the Edit button next to it. This opens the widget editor where you can adjust both the content and design of the scrolling ticker.
Inside the widget editor, click the Design tab at the top of the panel. This tab contains all visual customization options for the Horizontal Scroll widget, including layout, typography, and color controls.
Scroll down within the Design tab until you reach the Widget Color Customization section. This section groups all the color pickers for the Horizontal Scroll widget, including card colors, text colors, and star rating colors.
Click the Card Background Color picker. A color palette and hex input field will appear. Choose a color by clicking a swatch, entering a hex code directly, or using the hue slider to dial in your preferred shade. Every card in the Horizontal Scroll ticker will instantly update to display the new fill color in the preview. If a Card on Hover Color picker is also visible, you can set a second color that appears when a visitor hovers over a card in the live widget, giving the ticker an interactive feel.
Once you are satisfied with the card background color, click Save to apply the changes. If the widget is already embedded on your website, the updated card color will appear automatically the next time the page loads, with no need to re-embed the widget code.
