The Strip Slider widget displays your reviews as a compact horizontal row of cards that scrolls continuously across the page. Because every card appears side by side in a single, unbroken ribbon, the fill color of each card has a direct impact on how the overall strip looks on your site. A card background color that clashes with your page background makes the strip feel disconnected, while a color that complements your brand palette turns the scrolling ribbon into a polished, intentional design element.
The Card Background Color picker in the Widget Color Customization section lets you set the fill color applied to every review card in the Strip Slider. Some widgets also show a Card on Hover Color picker alongside it, which sets the card color when a visitor moves their cursor over a card. Together these options give you precise control over how the strip looks in its default scrolling state and during interaction, so the widget always feels like a natural part of your page rather than an afterthought.
Log in to your Feedspace account. In the left-hand navigation, click Widgets to open the Widgets dashboard, where all your created widgets are listed.
Locate the Strip Slider widget you want to update. Click the Edit button (pencil icon) on that widget’s card to open the widget editor.
Inside the widget editor, click the Design tab at the top of the panel. This tab contains all visual customization options for the Strip Slider, including layout, typography, and color settings.
Scroll down within the Design tab until you reach the Widget Color Customization section. This section groups all color pickers for the Strip Slider in one place, making it easy to adjust related colors together.
Click the Card Background Color swatch to open the color picker. Choose a color using the visual palette, enter a HEX code, or adjust the RGB and opacity sliders to dial in the exact shade you want. Every card in the scrolling strip updates to use this fill color. If a Card on Hover Color picker is also visible, click its swatch and choose the color you want each card to display when a visitor hovers over it.
Once you are satisfied with the card background color, click Save to apply the changes. The updated color will immediately be reflected on any page where the Strip Slider widget is embedded.
