The Avatar Card Carousel widget displays your testimonials as a sliding sequence of cards, each combining a reviewer’s avatar image with the review title, body text, reviewer name, date, and metadata. Because all of this information appears together in a compact card layout, the contrast and consistency of your text colors directly affects how readable and visually polished each card looks as it moves through the carousel.
The Widget Color Customization section for the Avatar Card Carousel includes two dedicated color pickers to give you precise control over every text element on each card. The Primary Text Color controls the review title and body text, which are the most prominent text elements in the card. The Secondary Text Color controls the reviewer name, date, and any metadata displayed beneath the review content. Adjusting these two colors independently lets you create a clear visual hierarchy inside each sliding card, making the review content easy to scan and ensuring the widget integrates naturally with your website’s color palette.
Log in to your Feedspace account and navigate to the Widgets section from the left-hand sidebar. You will see a list of all widgets you have created across your workspace.
Locate the Avatar Card Carousel widget you want to update and click the Edit button on its card. This opens the widget editor for that specific widget.
Inside the widget editor, click the Design tab at the top of the panel. This tab contains all visual customization options for the Avatar Card Carousel, including layout, spacing, and color settings.
Scroll down within the Design tab until you reach the Widget Color Customization section. This section contains the color controls specific to the Avatar Card Carousel, including the two text color pickers.
Click the Primary Text Color color picker. This color applies to the review title and body text on every card in the carousel. Choose a color that is easy to read against the card background you have set, and that fits your brand’s primary text style. You can enter a hex code directly or use the color palette to select a shade.
Click the Secondary Text Color color picker. This color applies to the reviewer name, date, and metadata displayed on each card. Using a slightly lighter or more muted tone than the Primary Text Color creates a natural visual hierarchy, drawing attention to the review content first and the reviewer details second.
Once you are satisfied with both color selections, click the Save button to apply the changes to your Avatar Card Carousel widget. The updated colors will take effect immediately wherever the widget is embedded.
