The Horizontal Scroll widget displays your review cards in a continuously looping ticker that moves across the page, giving visitors a live, animated stream of social proof. Because the cards scroll past quickly, every piece of information on each card needs to earn its place. The Show Review Date toggle, found in the Widget Content Customization section of the Design tab, controls whether the date a review was submitted or imported appears on each card as it scrolls by.
Enabling this option adds a visible timestamp to every review card in the ticker. For visitors watching the scroll, seeing recent dates signals that your reviews are current and actively collected, not a static snapshot from years ago. This is especially valuable on the Horizontal Scroll widget because the continuous motion draws the eye, and a clearly displayed date reinforces authenticity in the moment a card passes through view.
Log in to your Feedspace account. In the left-hand navigation, click Widgets to open your list of existing widgets.
Locate your Horizontal Scroll widget in the list. Click the Edit button (or the pencil icon) next to it to open the widget editor.
Inside the widget editor, click the Design tab at the top of the settings panel. This tab contains all visual and layout customization options for the widget.
Scroll down within the Design tab until you reach the Widget Content Customization section. This section groups all the toggles that control which pieces of information appear on each review card in the ticker.
Find the Show Review Date toggle within the Widget Content Customization section and switch it on. Once enabled, the date each review was submitted or imported will appear on every card as it scrolls across the ticker. To hide the date, switch the toggle off.
After enabling the toggle, click Save to apply your changes. If the widget is already embedded on your site, the live ticker will update automatically to show the review date on each scrolling card.
