The Floating Cards widget displays individual review cards that animate gently across the screen, drifting in and out of view to catch your visitors’ attention without interrupting their experience. Because each card appears as a small, self-contained unit, the source of the review matters: a visitor who sees a card carrying a recognisable Google or Trustpilot logo immediately understands that the review is from a verified third-party platform, which adds credibility that a plain card cannot provide on its own.
The Show Social Platform Icon toggle, found in the Widget Content Customization section of the Design tab, places the platform logo directly on each floating card. When enabled, a nested Social Redirection toggle lets visitors click that icon to open the original review on the source platform in a new tab. Together these two options turn each drifting card into a transparent, clickable proof point that directs interested visitors straight to your public review profile.
Log in to your Feedspace account. In the left-hand navigation, click Widgets to open the widgets listing page, where all your existing widgets are displayed.
Locate the Floating Cards widget you want to update. Click the Edit button (or the pencil icon) next to that widget to open the widget editor.
Inside the widget editor, click the Design tab at the top of the panel. This tab contains all visual and layout settings for the widget, including the Widget Content Customization section.
Scroll down within the Design tab until you reach the Widget Content Customization section. This section groups the toggles that control which elements appear on each floating card, such as star ratings, reviewer details, and platform icons.
Find the Show Social Platform Icon toggle and switch it on. Once enabled, the logo of the review source platform (such as Google, Trustpilot, or Facebook) will appear on every floating card that drifts across the screen.
After turning on the Show Social Platform Icon toggle, a nested Social Redirection toggle appears beneath it. Enable this toggle if you want visitors to be able to click the platform icon on each card and be taken directly to the original review on the source platform in a new browser tab. If you prefer the icon to appear for visual trust signals only, leave Social Redirection off.
Click Save to apply your changes. Use the widget preview to confirm that each floating card now displays the correct platform icon. If Social Redirection is enabled, verify that clicking an icon opens the original review page in a new tab before publishing the widget to your site.
