The Avatar Card Carousel widget in Feedspace displays reviews in a sliding carousel format where each card places the reviewer’s avatar and identity front and centre alongside their testimonial. Because the carousel rotates through cards continuously, the quality and freshness of the reviews on display directly affects how credible and trustworthy the widget feels to visitors.
Manually picking reviews each time you collect new ones is time-consuming. The Setup Automation button in the Select Reviews tab lets you define rules once, and Feedspace automatically selects matching reviews for your Avatar Card Carousel widget going forward. You can filter by star rating, sentiment, review type, and keywords, so only the most relevant, high-quality reviews from real, identifiable customers appear in the rotating cards.
Log in to your Feedspace account and navigate to the Widgets section from the left sidebar. Locate your Avatar Card Carousel widget in the list and click on it to open the widget editor.
Inside the widget editor, click the Select Reviews tab. This tab is where you choose which reviews appear on the carousel cards. You will see any manually selected reviews here, as well as the option to set up automated selection.
In the Select Reviews tab, click the Setup Automation button. This opens the automation rule panel where you configure the criteria Feedspace uses to automatically pick reviews for your Avatar Card Carousel widget.
Set up one or more rules to define which reviews qualify for the carousel. The available rule criteria are:
You can combine multiple criteria to narrow the selection. For example, you might require a 5-star rating and a positive sentiment to ensure the Avatar Card Carousel always shows your very best social proof.
Once you have set your criteria, click Save to apply the automation rules. Feedspace will immediately evaluate your existing reviews against the rules and populate the Avatar Card Carousel with the matching ones. New reviews that arrive later and meet the criteria will be added to the carousel automatically.
After saving, use the widget preview to see how the auto-selected reviews look in the Avatar Card Carousel layout. Check that each sliding card displays the reviewer’s avatar, name, and testimonial as expected, and that the quality of the selected reviews reflects the rules you configured.
