The Horizontal Scroll widget displays your reviews in a continuously looping ticker that scrolls across the page. Because the ticker runs on a loop, the quality and variety of the reviews in it directly affects the impression it leaves on every visitor who sees it pass by.
Manually picking reviews one by one works, but it means your ticker stays static until you revisit it. The Setup Automation button in the Select Reviews tab lets you define a set of rules once, and Feedspace will automatically include any newly approved review that matches those rules. Your Horizontal Scroll ticker stays fresh and populated with high-quality reviews without any ongoing effort.
You can filter by star rating, sentiment, review type, and keywords, giving you precise control over what scrolls across your page.
Log in to Feedspace and navigate to the Widgets section from the left sidebar. Locate your Horizontal Scroll widget in the list and click Edit to open it.
Inside the widget editor, click the Select Reviews tab. This tab controls which reviews appear in your scrolling ticker. You will see a list of your reviews along with the Setup Automation button near the top of the tab.
Click the Setup Automation button. A panel will open where you can define the rules that determine which reviews are automatically added to your Horizontal Scroll widget.
Set one or more of the following filters to match the reviews you want scrolling across your page:
You can combine multiple filters to narrow the selection further. For example, you could show only 5-star text reviews that mention a particular product feature.
Once you are happy with your rules, click Save to apply the automation. Feedspace will immediately evaluate your existing reviews against the rules and add any that qualify. Going forward, every newly approved review that matches your criteria will be added to the Horizontal Scroll widget automatically.
After saving, use the widget preview to confirm that the auto-selected reviews are scrolling correctly. Check that the ticker content reflects the quality and variety you configured in your automation rules.
