Which Feedspace Widgets Support Scroll Animation?

Last updated on June 12, 2026

Overview

Feedspace offers three widgets that keep your testimonials in constant, eye-catching motion: Strip Slider, Vertical Scroll, and Horizontal Scroll. Each one uses a looping animation to draw visitor attention and lets you control how fast the content moves. Whether you want a compact banner, a tall side feed, or a bold full-width marquee, there is a scroll animation widget built for that exact placement.

Strip Slider

The Strip Slider is a compact horizontal marquee that scrolls a single row of testimonial cards smoothly from one side of the screen to the other, then loops back seamlessly. It is ideal for narrow banner zones such as the space just below a hero section or above a site footer, where a slim, always-moving strip draws the eye without demanding too much vertical space. Its tight, ribbon-like design makes it the best choice when you want to surface a large number of reviews in a small footprint.

Vertical Scroll

The Vertical Scroll widget loops testimonials upward in a continuous feed, making it perfect for tall sidebar placements or any column layout where height is plentiful. You can also enable a multi-column layout with alternate-direction scrolling, so adjacent columns move in opposite directions and create a lively, dynamic display. This widget shines on landing pages and sales pages where you want visitors to feel immersed in a steady stream of social proof while they read the rest of the page.

Horizontal Scroll

The Horizontal Scroll widget fills the full width of a section with a marquee row of testimonial cards, giving each review generous space and strong visual presence. A multi-row option lets you stack two or more rows, and you can set alternate rows to scroll in opposite directions for an especially engaging, layered effect. It is the ideal pick for dedicated testimonial sections on homepages or campaign pages where you want scroll animation to be the centrepiece rather than a subtle accent.

Speed Control Options

All three scroll animation widgets share the same four speed settings: Delayed, Slow, Medium, and Fast. Delayed gives visitors plenty of time to read each card before it moves on, while Fast creates an energetic, attention-grabbing effect. You can change the speed at any time from the widget settings panel, and the update takes effect immediately across every page where the widget is embedded.

What You Can Do Next

  • Add a Strip Slider to a banner zone and choose a speed that fits your page rhythm.
  • Try the Vertical Scroll widget in a sidebar or multi-column layout to maximise use of vertical space.
  • Place a Horizontal Scroll widget as the centrepiece of your testimonials section and enable multi-row alternate-direction scrolling for extra impact.
  • Experiment with the Delayed, Slow, Medium, and Fast speed settings on any scroll animation widget to find the pace that keeps visitors engaged.
