How Do I Archive a Customer in Feedspace?

Overview

Archiving a customer in Feedspace removes them from automated review request sequences without permanently deleting their record. Use this option when you want to stop contacting someone but keep their data.

Steps to Archive a Customer

  1. In the left sidebar, click Customers under the Workspace section.
  2. Find the customer you want to archive. Use the search bar to search by name or email.
  3. Click on the customer’s row to open the Customer details panel on the right.
  4. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) at the top right of the Customer details panel.
  5. Select Archive from the dropdown.

The customer is now archived. They will no longer receive automated review request emails from any form in this workspace.

What Happens After Archiving

  • The customer’s record and all their details are preserved.
  • They are excluded from all active automation sequences across your workspace.
  • No emails or review requests are sent to them.

Common Questions

Is archiving the same as deleting?

No. Archiving hides the customer from active automation but keeps their record in Feedspace. Deleting removes the record permanently. Archive when you want to pause contact, not erase history.

Can I change a customer’s email and then re-add them?

Email is the unique identifier for each customer record and cannot be edited. If a customer’s email has changed, archive the old record and add the customer again with their new email address using the Add Manually tab.
