What Happens When I Archive a Customer in Feedspace?

What Archiving Does

When you archive a customer in Feedspace, they are removed from all active automation sequences across your workspace. No review request emails or automated messages will be sent to them after archiving.

What Stays the Same

  • The customer’s record remains in Feedspace with all their details (name, email, phone, company, tags).
  • Any reviews or testimonials already collected from this customer are not affected.
  • The customer’s history is preserved for reference.

What Changes

  • The customer is excluded from all form automation email sequences in the workspace.
  • No new review requests are sent to the customer.

When Should I Archive a Customer?

  • The customer has opted out of receiving emails from you.
  • The customer’s email address is no longer valid and you do not want to delete the record.
  • You want to pause contact with a customer without losing their data.
  • You need to replace a customer record with a new email address: archive the old record and add the customer again with the new email.

Is Archiving the Same as Deleting?

No. Archiving keeps the customer’s record in Feedspace and only stops automated emails. Deleting a customer removes the record permanently and cannot be undone. Use Archive when you want to pause contact, not erase history.

How to Archive a Customer
