How Do I Automate WhatsApp Notifications with Make?

Overview

Feedspace integrates with WhatsApp through Make, enabling you to receive automated WhatsApp messages whenever a new testimonial is submitted. Stay informed about new customer feedback directly on WhatsApp without manually checking your workspace.

Note: Automation through Make is available only on Professional and Business Plans in Feedspace. WhatsApp notifications also require access to the WhatsApp Business API via a provider such as Twilio or 360dialog.

Step 1: Create a Scenario in Make

1. Log in to Make and click + Create a new scenario.
2. Give your scenario a name, e.g., Feedspace to WhatsApp Notifications.
3. Click +, search for Feedspace, and select Watch New Testimonials.
4. Click Add, enter your Feedspace Automation Secret Key, then click Save.
   • To find this key: go to your Feedspace workspace → Automation → API tab → copy the Automation Secret Key.
5. Click OK to confirm the trigger.

Step 2: Connect WhatsApp

1. Click + after the trigger and search for your WhatsApp provider — for example, Twilio or WhatsApp Business.
2. Select Send a WhatsApp Message (or equivalent) as the action.
3. Click Add and enter your WhatsApp Business API credentials (Account SID, Auth Token, and WhatsApp-enabled number).
4. Click Save to store the connection.

Step 3: Configure the WhatsApp Message

1. Enter the To Phone Number — the WhatsApp number that should receive notifications (including country code, e.g., +14155238886).
2. Compose the Message Body using dynamic fields. For example:
   • New testimonial from {{Reviewer Name}}: {{Star Rating}} stars. View: {{Testimonial URL}}
3. Click OK to save the action.

Step 4: Test and Activate the Scenario

Click Run once to test. Once confirmed, toggle the scenario On. Every new Feedspace testimonial will now send an automatic WhatsApp message to your configured number.
