How Do I Back Up Feedspace Testimonials to Dropbox with Pabbly Connect?

Overview

Connect Feedspace to Dropbox via Pabbly Connect to automatically save each new testimonial file to a Dropbox folder. This gives you a continuous off-platform backup and makes testimonials easy to share with your team.

Note: Automation through Pabbly Connect is available only on Professional and Business Plans in Feedspace, and requires an API key for connection.

Step 1: Create a Workflow in Pabbly Connect

1. Log in to Pabbly Connect and click + Create Workflow.
2. Give your workflow a name, e.g., Feedspace → Dropbox Backup.
3. In the Trigger step, search for Feedspace and select it.
4. Choose New Testimonial as the trigger event.
5. Click Connect → Add New Connection, then enter your Feedspace Automation Secret Key.
   • To find this key: go to your Feedspace workspace → Automation in the left sidebar → copy the Automation Secret Key.
6. Click Save, then Test Request to confirm Pabbly Connect can fetch testimonial data.

Step 2: (Optional) Filter for Video Testimonials Only

If you only want to back up video files, add a filter step:

1. Click + and add a Filter step.
2. Set the condition: Testimonial Type → Equals → Video.
3. Only video testimonials will proceed to the Dropbox upload step.

Step 3: Connect Dropbox

1. Click + to add an action step.
2. Search for Dropbox and select it.
3. Choose Upload File as the action event.
4. Click Connect → Add New Connection and sign in to your Dropbox account to authorize Pabbly Connect.

Step 4: Configure the Upload

1. Set the File Path: the destination folder in Dropbox, e.g., /Feedspace/Video Testimonials/.
2. Map the File URL from the Feedspace trigger to the File input (the testimonial file URL).
3. (Optional) Set a dynamic File Name, for example:
   • {{Reviewer Name}} - {{Created At}}.mp4
4. Set Auto Rename to True to avoid overwriting files with the same name.
5. Click Test Step to verify the file saves to your Dropbox folder.

Step 5: Save and Activate the Workflow

After a successful test, click Save. New Feedspace testimonials will now automatically upload to your Dropbox folder.

You will always have a reliable, off-platform backup of every testimonial stored securely in Dropbox and accessible from any device.
