No, Account Deletion Is Permanent
Once you request account deletion and the Feedspace support team processes it, your account cannot be recovered under any circumstances. There is no grace period, no undo option, and no way for the support team to restore deleted account data. Deletion is a one-way action.
What Gets Permanently Removed
When your account is deleted, every piece of data associated with it is permanently and irreversibly removed:
- All workspaces and their settings
- All reviews stored in your Feedbox
- All review forms and form configurations
- All customer records and contact data
- All widgets (embedded widgets on your websites will immediately stop displaying)
- All Wall of Love pages (public URLs will stop working immediately)
- All branding, integrations, and automation settings
None of this data can be retrieved after deletion, even by contacting support.
Can I Use the Same Email Address Again?
Yes. After your account is deleted, your email address is released and can be used to register a new Feedspace account. However, the new account starts completely fresh. No reviews, forms, workspaces, customers, or any other data from the deleted account will carry over. It is the same as signing up for the first time.
What to Do Before Requesting Deletion
Because deletion cannot be reversed, consider these steps before submitting a deletion request:
Option 1: Cancel Your Subscription Instead
If your reason for leaving is cost, cancelling your subscription moves your account to the Free plan at the end of your billing period. All your reviews, forms, customer records, and settings are preserved. You can resubscribe at any time without losing anything. This is the safest option if there is any chance you might return to Feedspace.
Option 2: Export Your Reviews First
If you are certain you want to delete your account, export all your reviews as an Excel file before requesting deletion. This gives you a permanent local copy of your review content. Once the account is deleted, this export is the only record of your reviews that will remain.
Option 3: Remove Widgets and Integrations First
Widgets embedded on your websites and Wall of Love page links stop working as soon as your account is deleted. Before requesting deletion, remove all Feedspace widgets from your websites and deactivate any active integrations (Zapier, Pabbly Connect, Make, or webhooks). This avoids broken embeds or failed automation triggers appearing on your sites after the account is gone.
Summary
- Can deleted accounts be recovered? No, deletion is permanent and irreversible.
- Can the support team restore my data? No, once processing is complete there is no way to restore any data.
- Can I use my email again? Yes, but the new account starts with no data from the deleted account.
- Best alternative to deletion: Cancel the subscription to move to the Free plan and keep all your data.
