If you are on a paid Feedspace plan, it is strongly recommended to cancel your subscription before submitting a request to delete your account. Account deletion is not instant, and skipping the cancellation step can result in an unexpected charge. This article explains why the order matters, how to cancel your subscription, and what to do if you are on the Free plan.
Why You Should Cancel First
Account deletion requests take 1 to 3 business days to process. During that window, your billing date may fall. If your subscription is still active when the billing date arrives, you will be charged for another full period even though your account is scheduled for deletion. Cancelling your subscription first stops all future billing immediately, so no new charge can occur while the deletion request is being processed.
How to Cancel Your Subscription
- Log in to your Feedspace account.
- Go to Settings and select Billing.
- Click Cancel Subscription and confirm when prompted.
Once cancelled, your subscription stops renewing immediately. Your account remains fully active and accessible until the end of the current paid period, so you continue to have access to all your data before your account is closed.
How to Submit the Account Deletion Request
After your subscription is cancelled, submit your account deletion request through the in-app support chat. The support team will process the request within 1 to 3 business days and confirm once the account has been permanently closed.
What If I Am on the Free Plan?
If your account is on the Free plan, there is no subscription to cancel. You can skip the cancellation step entirely and submit your account deletion request directly through the in-app support chat without any additional steps.
