If you find something in Feedspace that is not working as expected, reporting it through the in-app chat is the quickest way to get it resolved. The support team typically replies within 36 minutes, and a detailed bug report helps them investigate and fix the issue faster.
How to Report a Bug
- Click the blue chat icon in the bottom right corner of your Feedspace dashboard to open the Messages panel.
- Describe the bug: what you were trying to do, what happened instead, and the steps to reproduce it.
- Include your workspace URL and the browser you are using (for example, Chrome 125 on Windows 11).
- Attach a screenshot if the issue is visual, such as a layout problem, a missing button, or an unexpected error message on screen.
- Send the message. The Feedspace team will review your report and follow up in the same chat thread.
What Makes a Good Bug Report
The more detail you provide, the faster the team can investigate and fix the issue. A good bug report includes the following information.
Steps to Reproduce
List the exact steps that cause the bug, in order. For example:
- Go to the Widget section and click Create Widget.
- Select the Carousel layout and click Save.
- See the error: the page refreshes but no widget appears in the list.
Expected vs. Actual Behaviour
State clearly what you expected to happen and what actually happened instead. This helps the team confirm they have reproduced the same issue.
Consistency
Note whether the issue happens every time you follow those steps or only sometimes. Intermittent bugs can be harder to reproduce, so any pattern you have noticed is helpful.
Error Messages
Copy the exact text of any error message shown on screen. If the error appears in the browser console, include that too if you can access it.
What Happens After You Report
The Feedspace support team reviews every bug report submitted through the in-app chat. They will confirm whether the issue is reproducible, provide a workaround if one is available, and escalate to the engineering team when a fix is needed. You will receive updates in the same chat thread.
