How Long the Process Takes
Once you submit a deletion request through the in-app support chat, the Feedspace support team reviews and processes it manually. The typical timeframe is 1 to 3 business days. This window accounts for identity verification and the time needed to fully process the deletion on the team’s end.
The Deletion Process Step by Step
- You submit a deletion request via the in-app support chat.
- The support team verifies your identity by confirming the email address associated with your account.
- Once your identity is confirmed, the team processes the deletion on their end.
- You receive a confirmation notification when the deletion is complete.
What Happens to Your Account While You Wait
During the 1 to 3 business day processing window, your account remains fully accessible. You can still log in, view your reviews, and use Feedspace as normal while the request is being handled. No data is removed until the support team completes the deletion and sends your confirmation.
Cancel Your Subscription First If You Have a Paid Plan
Account deletion is not the same as cancelling your subscription. If you are on a paid plan and submit a deletion request without cancelling your subscription, you may be charged again during the processing window. To avoid any additional charges, cancel your subscription before or immediately after submitting your deletion request. You can do this from Settings, then Billing, inside your Feedspace account.
Cancelling billing stops any future charges right away, while the deletion request is processed in parallel by the support team. The two steps are independent, so you do not need to wait for deletion to complete before cancelling.
