Is Feedspace HIPAA Compliant?

Last updated on June 29, 2026

Feedspace is a testimonial and review collection platform. It stores reviewer personal data, including names, email addresses, and review content, in your workspace. Whether this data handling meets HIPAA requirements depends on the specific use case and the type of data being submitted through your forms.

Healthcare businesses and practices that want to collect patient testimonials need to confirm whether using Feedspace fits within their HIPAA obligations before going live with a form.

What data Feedspace stores about reviewers

When a reviewer submits a response on your Feedspace form, the fields you have enabled are stored in your workspace. This can include name, email address, job role, company, and the review content itself (text, video, or audio).

How to ask about HIPAA compliance

  1. Send an email to support@feedspace.io with the subject “HIPAA Compliance Inquiry”.
  2. Describe your use case, including the type of data you intend to collect and the nature of your reviewers (for example, patients or healthcare workers).
  3. The Feedspace team will respond with the information you need to make an informed decision for your organisation.

How to minimize the data your form collects

If you are operating in a regulated environment, you can reduce the personal data your form collects by disabling fields you do not need:

  1. Sign in at app.feedspace.io/signin and go to Forms in the left sidebar.
  2. Click the Edit (pencil) icon on your form card to open the form editor.
  3. Click the User Details tab and toggle off any fields that are not required for your review collection purpose.
  4. Click Save and Next to apply your changes.

What’s next

After contacting support, the Feedspace team will provide the compliance details relevant to your situation. For data governance questions that apply across multiple platforms, see also how Feedspace handles GDPR data requests.

Common questions

Does Feedspace offer a Business Associate Agreement?

Contact support@feedspace.io to ask about BAA availability for your account.

Can I collect patient testimonials without including protected health information?

Yes. You can configure your Feedspace form to collect only non-sensitive information, such as first name and a star rating, by disabling the email, company, and other personal fields in the User Details tab of the form editor. Collecting general satisfaction feedback without requesting health-specific details reduces the scope of regulated data your form handles.
